Been in Beta a fair bit now, am totally enjoying it, nice learnign curve and freedom, Starting areas always full, few issues but thats what Beta is for, and we also ge to see DEV and GM ingame and a darn friendly bunch they are.

It is still closed beta and there is no hard and fast way. They have been increasing the amount of invites, so just keep checking your email.

Also, as a first step in opening up the game from now on we don't require a motivational letter for applying into the beta.
Awesome, got mine One question... why 600 invites at a time? I could understand if it was just some random number picked out once, but you have done it like 5 times now :P Why not 500?

edit: fixed it if you are in vista or windows 7 you need to give full access to all users to the gbf file.

Are you running under vista/win7? If so did you install into the program files directory? There's an issue with that we still need to resolve.

I'm on win7, installed it in custom folder, managed to update it to 100% after about one hour of crashing and then starting the updater again, it went smoth after it got the first 100 mb or so, and had no problem with the client after fully updating

How the hell do you get into beta? I submitted a request on their website and nothing.

If you have a friend with beta experience - hint the devs via the ingame mail system. They might let him or her in
