Gameplay are now blizzards release partners (gameplay is an online store in uk that does mail order etc). And more better news is that the Collectors edition is available for preorder there.

Although stocks are already selling out. Hehe .

And i get a beta key for europe and the soundtrack still.... OHHH happy days.

You dont have the pre-order opportunity in all your stores in UK?..we have in denmark, and i I allready have the final beta version (though i cant play it until official release)..wonder why UK dont have it in retail??

still, its great you have the option to do it that way..though a weird choice thats blizz supports so heavy in DK and not UK.. best regards DragonReborn

I've only found two places where we can pre-order and get the beta key in the UK: Game and Gameplay.
Even then, Game are only selling the standard version, not the Collector's one.

No idea why..doesn't seem to make much sense...

Agreed..why does the UK sell primarily normal versions , when  DK(denmark) Primarily sells

herb man you sure you cant preorder from gameplay.com? its an english site (so itd be english copy) but still you get beta key etc. Im sure because they are an online retailer they could ship it yo you.

You are right tho, there was some controversy about GAME. Basically on their site its says exclusive beta key (basically only them doing it). Problem was Its GAME's decission not to stock collectors edition at all... they did the same with Half life 2 collectors edition (they just didn't stock it) basically to make things easier on shop storage space and easier for themselves.

Sux tho. Im just glad this gameplay thing come along as i had my heart set on CE.

Btw you can play US on EU servers at release. Only when the EU servers are put up tho. basically the localisation rules will be dropped once EU starts up. So you never no you might see me around hehe.

Ill be on an english pvp server most likely . Unfortunately i might play Alliance (i really like horde) but my mate has a GF who is gonna play with both of us too... and basically horde isnt nice for girls so looks like alliance for me. Even tho their toons look gimpy. NE male is gay, Human is blocky, Gnome is small and so is dwarf.

Believe it or not but the UK really only has a few retailers for Games.

We used to have EBGames, Game, HMV (but they more music now) as the main contenders for our games.

the only two devoted to Games and games alone where EB and Game. EB bought Game and split from its american counterpart. So basically Game and EB merged into One store.

In my town in reading there are 3 Game's and nothing else. They have a monopoly on the industry. The only contender atm (isnt that populatr) is called gamestation. its not big enough to get in on any of these preorder deals. Gameplay.com doesn't have any stores so essentially we only have Game to get our games from now.

Sux.... but thats monopolies for you.

Online retailers I found (including those u spoke about) either don't ship overseas (as with gameplay) or don't provide beta key to foreigners...

So i'm desperate for Blizzard to finally release the final version!! I wANT TO PLAY!!!!

I am from Belgium (Benelux) and pre-ordered by gam in the UK and got a mail that they have got a beta key with them and will send it to me as quick as possible. That was somewhere last friday, so think he will have to arrive today or next monday. If it doesn't I will send a mail to game with there mail attached, they said it was underway and if it doesn't reach me I'm cancelling and will get a friend in germany to pre-order one. Just don't understand what is so great on the collectors edition, not worth the extra cost in my eyes.

well i am in UK and havent received my preorder cd from gameplay.com so the beta wont begin just yet.

Somebody said beta will begin 15/16 december

Im in the Uk and i think i got my Preorder Beta cds on tuesday from Game.... Not that we can do much with them

Am soooo dying to get on with this game again
