That one is easy. Earth & Beyond. It was the first beta I played, and I fell totally in love with the game. I never got to play the retail version, and that bothers me a LOT. Ah, how I miss that spaceship of mine....

    Fury, no doubt.

Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. I know the game isn't dead (yet), but I would love to see it get a graphics make over and be rereleased as it should have been.

Have to agree to this statement and I want to add another game from NCSoft and it is Auto Assault, I loved to cruise around in my vehicles in Auto Assault. And really miss the nice community from that game.

SWG the best, pre CU, and worst, post NGE, MMO game ever.

Sessssss Scisuss Elder Jedi Master will return in SWTOR or ...

    BRING ON SWG2!

I would like to see UO revamped with a better graphics engine (same perspective just better textures/quality). Same with SWG-Pre CU. These games were both amazingly fun in their prime and with new graphics and exact same gameplay would surely have a decent subscriber base.

On a side note.. I see a lot of people mentioning BattleTech. Did anyone play BattleTech in the virtual pods? I used to play it as a kid at this place called virtual world. Really really fun.

If i could revive any game id revive Ferentus, herrcot , and xiones. All the same game under different names and different versions. This game was never really noticed , so it didnt really have to big of a crowd. Also it didn't last very long due to legal issue and lack of income. It was a true free to play game with no cash shop or sub. You just downloaded it made an account and played. It was also my first mmo which is why iid love to see it revived and revamped. Lol

I know this will cause a severe outbreak but I am going to have to go with "THE SIMS ONLINE"

Ya I know but if you look at Facebook with all the foolish games and the endless millions who play them it would be exceptional. There are millions upon millions of people who don't like competitive games and would be more than happy to have a place online besides facebook.

I suppose it would be the mmorpg with the best gameplay ,ethism, many options for the player . Thats Ultima Online and by terms of reviving i take it with a brand new up to date 3d grafix engine. The ability for the players to actually do whatever they feel like in a game is something we dont meet anymore in the best mmorpgs nowdays ( building your own house ,loads of skills to upgrade, free pvp, loads of proffesions, become a thief, murderer ,valorous knight,in general whatever u really want to be etc etc)

    tabula rasa and auto assault

...almost nothing good ever comes out of korea, besides hordes of big boobed lolitas they never had and never will have...

    Retired from: UO, DAoC, WoW.
Loved 'till their death: Auto Assault, Tabula Rasa
    Playing now: Fallen Earth
    Waiting for: Earthrise, Mortal Online

As I said in another post.  I would have every other MMORPG deleted to have my Auto Assault back (:

It would be the old SWG pre NGE for me.  I would play that game in a heart beat.  Best sandbox game ever and nothing has come close since.

If I had a 2nd choice it would be the original Asheron's call with updated graphics, still one of the better MMO's out there.

  • just1opinion2just1opinion2 Member Posts: 44

I think it would be pre-NGE SWG for me, but primarily because I didn't get to PLAY it.  I was wrapped up in some other MMO back then and missed the entire thing.  I played post-NGE for all of like 2 weeks, the game was over all pretty empty and I just couldn't get into it, but I could see where it had probably been great at one time. That made me sad. :(  So...my answer is pre-NGE SWG. :)

Motor City Online without a boubt.  Earth and Beyond was also greatness.

aye...we missing BT very much...but at least there are alternatives...megamek...and the merc4 communtiy is still huge with a couple of large leagues in play.

but Auto Assault...ya...nothing like vehicular pvp combat.

nothing since has come close to it and many still believe it would be successful with proper support.

Hellgate: London.  I've read rumors of them bringing it back in some form, but like Tabula Rasa it was a good game with alot of potential and alot more bugs.  Done properly I think that game would have done fairly well and I enjoyed playing it.

it would have to be Earth and Beyond.    just a little tune up here and there and that game could STILL run circles around 90% of the MMOs on the market to date.

  • JyiigaJyiiga Member UncommonPosts: 1,187

I hate that almost all modern MMO titles are class based systems. So I would like to see the original Asheron's Call reworked and rereleased. Huge open world, no instances, no classes (build your own char), real mean pvp, tons and tons of random generated loot, monthly content patches.. The list goes on and on...

  • Ramonski7Ramonski7 Member UncommonPosts: 2,662

Earth and Beyond gets my vote. It was so ahead of it's time. And EA didn't do the game justice with the lack of support after retail. I beta tested and bought the retail version along with 2 of my MMO buddies. What a grand time we had creating our Jenquai squad. I had a Trader and my other two buds had a Explorer and a Warrior. We had each others back in that harsh galaxy.

Oh well, other than that I would love for them to necro Phantasy Star Online. Phantasy Star Universe is utter crap and doesn't deserve to carry the Phantasy Star moniker. Nothing like a quick game of PSO with 3 friends grinding rare weapons. It was the first MMO my wife played and the reason she got into MMO gaming.

Darkness Falls: The Crusade - Becaues that game was not only my introduction to MMORPGs (even thought it was a MUD) it developed a strong follow, was extremely fun and addictive.  I have played other MMORPGs with fellow DFC players and in the beginning of WoW many ex-DFCers formed a guild.  It was not only a experience online but a social experience as well.  I would make it a graphical game however if I could bring it back.

Planetside, the only good MMOFPS to date. Many games have called themselves MMOFPS since then, while they are all just regular FPS games with lobbies.

I would like to see another fun FPS game with thousands of players fighting for territorial control.

  • TecheTeche Member Posts: 6

SWG pre CU / NGE It was fun, game just needed a more content.

Gods and Heroes: Rome Rising:  I actually got in the beta for this MMO before they canx it to ruin Star Trek.  I liked the idea of companions that actually leveld and needed to be outfited, you could be your own group, which was fun.
