Download the client?

Is there anywhere a new beta tester can download the client? The beta email told me to use their site, but its way to slow and keeps sending me in a loop. I cant find the client on the Beta site.

I used the downloader from mmosite.com FFXIV page. it sends you through a couple webpages but you get to the download link....was pretty fast

I saw this one but there are a lot of steps. Hasn't anyone just uploaded the whole client somewhere?
If you are capable of following megaupload you may want to go that rout. The Official downloader for the client is AWEFULL. Seriously at this point there official client downloader on cable makes you feel like you stepped back in time 20 years on download speeds. Kinda sad really that SE can make good games but cant make a simple P2P program for client downloads. CB was just as bad.

It's not complicated, just download the files from Megaupload, then download the remaining patches. Place them into the appropriate directories (there is even a picture to help on that page) and start the launcher.
Voila, good to go.
I tried the download from Fileplanet - a link I found through the FFXIVCore site - which is about 118mb in size. However, the updating of patches is horrendous.
As for the rather large thread on FFXIVCore that shows various .rar and uTorrent links for updating, I don't see ANY of the same folders and files in my FF directory that are shown in their guideline pics.
So, I am more lost than ever and not likely to be playing this any time soon.
I know a link that has all into a rar file but microsoft essential will think it's a virus I scanned it with avira and didn't find anything (I always scan rar files before opening them) then made a full scan with avira, windows defender, iobit security 360 pro and advanced system care and they didn't find anything.
If you people want I can post it I didn't find any virus/whatever in it but some people may be sceptical dunno.

Now I guess you already have beta launcher else you'll have to download it from fileplanet.
Go to DocumentsMy GamesFINAL FANTASY XIV Beta Versiondownloadsffxiv-betad96437e6patch
Close the launcher first then paste all the patches inside there (if you already downloaded some of them you can put only the ones left to be downloaded)
Then launch launcher again and it should just verify what patches you have.
Note: you will have a small patch after all of these there was a new small one today but I downloaded in less then 5 min for me (took a lot because there was showing me no local/region to get download from)
