Great Game if your a fanboy

It really is a good game overall, could be much better though. Even though the US side is still in Beta, Euro side ended and pending release, the Russian side has been released. Which really means the U.S. side is really done with beta and patches (can't talk about the last patch) and are just getting server stress tests ironed along with mulling over pricing for RMT, while the current beta testers think their input matters.
The community is 50/50 like any niche game. Half of it is fanboys and overzealous ban happy player mods who can't stand an honest debate in the beta forum itself about the game's mechanics and state. The other half are the people who just play as it is.
Thre is another tank game called Tank Ace coming out in 12/10 that looks to have more functionality and an MMO quality to it than this game does. However it's beta has ended and is set to release.
Don't mention the fact there is another game competing with this one though in the WoT forums..that will earn you a ban along with a list of many other imagined infractions.

Heh, thanks for info. Gotta try it, and if turns out something as good as WoT, I might as well get a ban^W^W^W mention it on the RU forums ^^

I would have to agree with the point you bring up about moderation in their forums. I have never posted in their forums, but am a daily reader of it and have found some of the moderators to be very intolerant and disrespectful. Moderators that call people "stupid" or that demean people because english is not their first language is just wrong. Would never support a company that condones such behavior, and as such, they will not get a single dime from me.
Only true there is that Russian version got released, anything else is just incorrect.

There is no US/EU 'side', no EU beta ended nor it is pending till release. There is no stress test or w/e...
I really don't know where you got all those misleading information from or you just messed them up.
All what happened is that 'EU beta' was moved onto US servers. There will be US + EU + RU servers for release and most likely for beta, you just can't do everything at once.
There are/were three servers:
Russia is live
Euro beta ended and has not gone live. (Yes the Euro server "moved" to U.S. All they did was copy the database and shut Euro down).
U.S is in beta and is supposed to go live in Fall.
There will be three servers once all are live, one for each location.
Stress test is part of a beta. What do you call it when 6k players nearly crash the server each night?
Where do you get your misinformation?
Your last sentence contradicts your first.
Not long ago there was an invitation on RU forums for a day-length beta test, as it turned out, the US servers were tested.

comparing the videos i found for tank ace to what i have seen playing maxed setting WoT ... its debatable which is better.
currently WoT is badly lagging my system, tho my ping rocks better now on the NA servers over the 250-999 ping i had for EU
that said.. T-A tanks look horrible. from what i understand WoT devs actually got specs and reviewed/researched the real tanks they used. so its believed WoT ranks up next to WW2O for realism on the tanks.
but it seems T-A has been "offline" since 09 no one has really said anything on it being bought/published at all, just the odd trailer for it from 09. that shows of really horrible looking tanks. atleast the few "offical" trailers i have seen of it, the tanks look like they are playing on a UT/Q2 system O-o or they just have really crappy textures.
either way, i would rather actually try TA before i start claiming its better then WoT.
so far the only main gripe i have with WoT, is the annoying noob cannon tanks. once you have a maus or IS-7 its pointless playing. unless you swarm that one tank, you pretty much die. even my german VK-DB fails to even scratch a IS7. not taking in to account the support tanks with it. as everyone follows an IS7. that and the annoying instant kill arty are the only annoyance i have with WoT.
both sets of servers never really bugged me with lag, tho i get more hicups on the NA server now then i did on the EU. just a better ping.

Good points you make, FailPatch. I'll say this much though, the game is more addictive than crack cigarettes.
Honestly, I found more fanboys in WW2O and that's the reason I stopped playing. Great game...too many fanboys. They kept telling me to leave the game so...I did and they can have it. Now the graphics are just outdated. That's also why I come to these forums: Unmoderated truth. WoT forums are a little better than most game forums though.
The current problems from the fanbase have been acknowledged. It is a F2P game so I'll be back to see once those changes have been made. Right now though, I get that feeling like its almost time to move on to something else.
RU is in open beta but as with many F2P's their cash shop is live. EU and US beta has been combined from the very start, they'd tested their EU hardware so they moved us all over to their US hardware to test it, I see nothing wrong with that at all.
All i see you doing is trying to put a spin on it when in fact it' means nothing.
Other than that, the game is a different bit of fun to pass the time while waiting for proper MMO's to release.
