I know it's become what seems standard to want to use features like this but I find it breaks what little immersion most MMORPGs have if there's just menus everywhere that teleport you to dungeons. I know there's only been limited PVE shown so far in beta but can anyone confirm if there is a feature like this in the game or not? Either way I'd probably still play it but I'm hoping there isn't.

As far as I know WoW is the only game with this feature. Even EQ2 doesnt go directly to a dungeon...atleast the last time i played it.
So far there's no system to apply to dungeons. You are, however, asked if you would like to be teleported to the instance as soon as one party member enters one.
That is much more acceptable, but I'm sure they will implement something of the sort later in it's lifespan. I'm starting to look more forward to this game the more I see about PvE but It's the RvR stuff that will really make or break it for me. Here's to hoping.

I really like the feature once you have a group going that a person enters and it allows you the choice to pop to the dungeon. Will save time for big groups scattered everywhere as they form. You can be doing stuff seperately from the group while it fills up and then be able to all pop to where you want to dungeon crawl at the drop of a hat once all are ready. Less time doing tedious journeys with possible wipes on the way due to PvP can make the difference between a good gaming session or bad one.
Way to go Trion! Hope they keep this feature
No, no dungeon finder system a la the WoW one.
Also, no current plans at all to implement such a system. Would link the article where Scott talks about this (and says what I just typed in the previous 2 sentences) but it has been a long time since that article and I don't feel like reading through all those interviews again, lol.
Scott also said their intention is for players to use the good old fashioned way of typing LFG for BFD in an appropriate chat channel.
