Games released on a Monday

Just me who finds it annoying that the would release games on a Monday!

You could always delay your own start a few days, and install the game for weekend/day of your choosing?

Man I HATE that they release games on a Monday! I always have to go to school on week days and sometimes even go to work after school! If a game released on a Friday or even a Thursday that would be waaay better.

Trying to look at this from a developers perspective, there are certain benefits to releasing a new title on a Monday.

It gives time to hotfix any major issues with server stability or potential game breaking bugs that have been missed during the beta process and that were not apparent before launch. There are nearly always some problems when a title first goes live and having those few extra days to issue hotfixes or optimize the server performance before the big numbers hit is something that smaller developers often cannot afford to pass up.
