Another new player loves what the free trial offers! Another reciept that Mortal Online seems to please newcomers! Anyone more like it like him?

Comments from other that have tried the trial?

As discussed in that thread.. all the negative responses (and there were MANY) have been censored.

That didn't last long    I still have an active sub myself so no need for a trial, but I got a couple friends into it a few days ago,they seem to be getting into it now... one of them was talking to me about tutors around the starting area...I vaguely remembered something about that in some patch notes, but he started talking about lore and I was like "WTF, there's no lore in MO!"  So yea, he schooled me in mo backstory, i never bothered when any of that.

 

anyway, I dunno if they'll stick with it, they're more of the WoW crowd (no offense meant, that's just their favorite mmo atm), but so far so good... it helps that I warned them upfront that "this will probably be the buggiest MMO you've played in the last 5 years".

Anyway, this thread is unlikey to last long given the locking of duplicates regularly.

Yeah, well, stating facts is one thing, but stating them in a bad way is another. Also, to make the company/game look bad in every way, personal attacks on the devs etc is not constructive at all. To say they will do anything to - and look forward to MO's break down, well I think you could say that's hating a game?

Facts are facts, stating them in Flemish or while standing on your head doesn't make them less true.

 

The personal attacks mostly come from those defending SV, calling other posters trolls, haters etc. I call Henrik a liar because he is (fishing ready to go in 2 weeks then silence for months for eg). I say they are not very talented programmers because it is apparent they are not. Those are not personal attacks, they are facts and I'd quite happily state them in any forum.

Telling Henrik to stop lying is constructive criticism btw, unless you think lying helps his case.
