Ryzom on Linux Game Tome?

picommanderpicommander Member UncommonPosts: 256

Tonight I've submitted Ryzom on http://www.happypenguin.org/ (Linux Game Tome). I hope these guys will wake up soon and we'll see Ryzom there so you all can (and should!) rate it. I'm pretty sure this will pull some Linux people in cause MMOs with a native Linux client are extremely rare (Vendetta is the only other one I know).

This wonderful but underestimated and widely misunderstood game MUST NOT DIE!

EDIT: Questionmark set in topic, these guyes are really lame...

EDIT II: They ignored my submitted Ryzom, now they ignore my mail, but the site can't be dead cause 3 new games where published since then. Am I still alive? Unbelievable!

They put it on their list now.

Good thing for all of us, this game is a really good sandbox.

It has been on penguspy for quite some time. I've tried it out, it's a pretty good game. I like how animals in the game act in herds.

Finally! And yes, this game is awesome. I really don't mind its technical issues, for an old game this is quite ok. Gameplay is what matters! And everything feels so alive here... Just don't let confuse yourself by your first impression, if you think this world would be "cute". This might be true for the first few levels and on Silan (newbieland). You have been warned: Ryzom is surely one of the harsher and more challenging titles with a strong pressure towards team play (although not forced). I play mostly solo... Looks like I've found my game!
