WoW and it's version of the "4th pillar"

Okay I've been thinking.  What could WoW do to seriously answer the generally hidden 4th piller.  They've got the lore but it's generally not something that you deal with unless you dig for it and isn't really changable.  I'm not exactly a long time fan of WoW or even a current player but I've an idea that if WoW did something similar.. I'd be seriously tempted to become one.

One thing I've always felt WoW lacked was housing.  I've always liked having a piece of the game world as my own.  A place where I could invite friends.. set up to my taste and such.  Thing is WoW has only sort of danced around the idea of this formerly standard mmo feature.  I can see why with how the game is now but.. still.  Then I played Gods and Heroes for a month haveing gotten on steam while on sale... I LOVED the estate system.  It is by far one of the best new ideas I've seen come to mmos in a while.  They basically give you a whole zone to yourself.. and while it's not entirely impletmented yet you will be able to build as you like eventually.  So from there I naturally started thinking about GW2's personal story system.

Thing is WoW could do this... impletmenting a branching storyline using it's phasing tech with a zone basically to yourself without really changing the overall game.  If they started the storyline at say level 20 all the way up to 85 that would be a nice chunk of content that has never been touched before.  Pretty much making all the newer games look less amazing.  Not only this but it could easily be added to.  Maybe you could run your own farm.. build your own castle that sort of thing.  Giving end game players something more to do than just going at the newest raid.  Not only that it would give crafters a whole bunch of new ways to make money.

Will they do it?  I doubt it.. but it would be really awsome if they did.  I just can't help but think they've got to do something to answer this new trend or maybe it'll actually be left behind.. I don't know.  We'll see.
