Usually the only common difference I saw was in the mail I would get. Besides for that, one time I killed my "old master" or w/e, then his daughter attacked me two quest later and I killed her in five seconds. But then again, I think the other option was to fake his death, so the question comes to mind, would the daughter still ahev thought I killed her father, leading her to attack me either way? Idk, I picked the same option twice lol... But I really didn't notice much difference outside of dialogue from what I did repeat.
Why make a topic asking our opinion and then say that one opinion doesn't matter?
Because I'm not interested at all in what people didn't find or didn't notice, the OP is pretty clear, it is about what people DID discover in differing results or became aware of while choosing different options. It's exactly for this, to prevent the white noise of people commenting 'huh, I dinna find anythin'. So, if you did discover such stuff, then feel free to post it, if not, then don't post.
Well if you want a report of the all the details of every thing some one might have discovered maybe you should've started this thread in the spoiler section of the forums?
On a side not, a negative answer is just as important as a positive one...
That's a strawman argument, I didn't mention at all that I want all the details of every thing, so don't try to make it as if I did.
Like the OP also said, either avoid spoiler details or else if you can't find a way around it, add a spoiler alert.
Like the saying goes, if you don't have anything good or of value to say regarding the OP request, then don't say anything at all. The OP is pretty clear what the topic is about, it's not that hard a request when asked to stick with it and not derail from it.

Over the 3 beta weekends, I tested EVERY gender/class for the voice overs to at least level 10. I find that the female voice overs were alot better than the male. Maybe I'm biased, since I love me some female twi'lek, but females' responses seemed better. The biggest turn off for voice overs is that it seems every single male empire voice over was done by the same british guy. Now remembering back to the movies, alot of the empire bad guys did have british in thier accent, but not more than half. Darth Maul and the captain that shoots the death star sticks out the most in my mind. Then again the "actor" playing Darth Maul wasn't even the first choice. He was the stuntman that was hired to teach the original Darth Maul all the moves, but the original couldn't do it, so lucas just said screw it, put in the stuntman...Darth Maul only has like 3 speaking lines in the whole movie anyways. This is also a part that turned me away from the Sith. I wanted to play a Darth Maul copy (like the first episode or not, Darth Maul is BAD A!), but there's too much talking hehe. A big evil grin or a growl would've sufficed like in the movies
What I had hoped to see was basically some sort of 'High Road' and 'Low Road' to the end Story.
Basically, if you went Dark, you would end up going to 'Dark planets' or 'Dark Quest lines', and if you when Light, you would end up going to 'Light Planets' or 'Light Quest lines'.
Additionally, I wanted to see some 'faction relationships', where if you had too many Dark/light, some quests and NPCs would react differently to you. I am thinking something along the lines of EQ:SoV, where you ended up siding with the Giants, Dwarves, or Dragons - and basically persona non grata to the other two factions. Are there some sort of faction systems in TOR, or is everyone of the same side (Rep/Emp) treated the same, regardless of decisions and Light/DArk?
From what I have read, it sounds like Light/Dark doesn't affect much outside the instance (or quest line in your example). For example, it sounds like you can go Dark for 70% of the quests, and still be treated the same by the next quest giver/line as if you had gone 70% Light. Is that not the case, and if so, can you give some more examples?
So far, from what I've noticed, that is correct.
I hate to keep using this example, but the questline in which this was the most glaring was during the Revanite questline. Each and every NPC i met I would insult to no end, and I would always come back treated like a friend and ally. I know I did see some quests where they would treat me a little differently, but nothing that really stood out as a significant change.
I have grouped with people who did not have certain companions, because they chose to kill them in the line of the story quest.
From what I understand, once they HAVE become companions, they can no longer be killed now.
I have also had people that I let live e-mail me all kinds of goodies, from credits, to items.
I have made the mistake on my BH of letting some people live (because they weren't my mark), and then had some pretty elaborate traps laid out to arrest or kill me later down the road.
Note to self: Kill the innocent.
I've also had bounty hunters come after me for people I chose to kill....or in one instance had the guy who was giving me my quests attack me....I was sent to rescue his son, see....and his son had something I wanted....so instead of rescuing him, I killed him and took it. Didn't realise there was a security camera.
I have often been given choices in quests, where I wondered to myself "why the hell would I do that??" only to find out later that I could have prevented some really annoying events had I chose that option.

There have been several posts that have little to do with the OP's request and some even counter to what I specifically asked not to do, which is kinda annoying, but I guess it's maybe impossible to avoid.
As long as it doesn't keep derailing.

My request is to avoid spoilers as much as possible and only talk about them in generic terms, and only mention them when someone can't find a way around it with a spoiler alert warning.

There was another where I was tasked to oversee the transport of a prisoner in carbonite. While guarding him 2 rival groups both get into it while Im there. The first time I threatned to eat them, which then caused me to have to fight both groups at once. The second time I let them argue back and forth, slighly edging each other on at one another. This caused them to fight, and kill, each other in the cut scene and I never had to fight either.

yeah, I went back and edited my post with some juicy bits for ya.
I really do find it interesting that so many people STILL expect their choices to have an effect IMMEDIATELY (as in RIGHT NOW!!!!111!1!!!!), and if they don't, figure that it doesn't matter.
