A positive of the gem system

It is dropping the overblown player hype for the game.  This needed to be done, since the PLAYER hype train for GW2 has been through the roof.  Now when the dust settles on this gem topic, and people return to their senses, they will look at GW2 as a whole product again.

I hope so aionix. I know quite a lot of people are hyping that really haven't a clue what the game is about. In the end, it can't be everything to everyone. If people come to realise that, it's not a bad thing.
