Best browser game for work? ^^

GrimmxGrimmx Member UncommonPosts: 189

Like tiltle says.

My work pc sucks though, so i cant be anything advanced.  Mostly looking for some rpg or strategy i can just leave whenever i need, without ruining the game.

I have periods at work when its really slow, its on/off mostly...alot to do sometimes, slow other times...so im bored ;)

Check out games from https://www.kabam.com/ or maybe http://www.forlornonline.com/

Kabam got a bunch of online strategy games. Slow paced and easy to leave whenever. Forlorn got a game named Lands of Hope, nice RPG which is also easy to leave. Turn based.

I play ,"get my work done" at work. It a cool game that keeps me employed with checks every two weeks. I just fired 2 new employees for watching you tube during work. Managers need to take note, unless of course you dont have work to do and they keep you there.

Lord of Ultima is a decent RTS browser game without tons and tons of clicking (that gets the IT folks at work wondering what you are doing). There is a cash shop but I've never used it. Logging in daily gets you freebies.

Might be good for lunch hour anyway.

What if your job includes watching some videos and then blog about those videos? Is that okay?

I'd recommend World of Dungeons....ITs browser based and you can be afk as long as you need.....ITs fantasy, group based and you can play for free.

I manage a department with 60 employees. While I monitor internet usage by employees, I don't mind when employees take a quick 5 min break to look at yahoo or what-not. I find staff is more productive with small "breaks" spread throughout the day. I am more concerned with the ones glued to facebook/twitter and the like than one taking 15 minutes to play a browser game.

And I am at work, lunch break actually. image

    edit:

Opps, on topic: Dark Orbit & Tribal Wars are pretty good.

Get off your high horse, dude. You have no idea what kind of work situation the original poster is in. For all you know  he works in a really laid back company where the managers are okay with people browsing the net occasionally when they have free time. What isn't okay for your company != what isn't okay for others.

The only browser based game that I enjoyed playing (which was way back in like 2006) was called Imperial Conflict. It's an epic grand strategy game where you play with hundreds of others in a galaxy and fight over/defend planets & resources with your 'family' (i.e. guild). Exploring, expanding and conquer is what it's basically about. Not sure if it's still active, though.. but I'm sure you can find literally dozens of these games.

Oh, I did play EA's "Lord of Ultima" game. It was basically like the one above but set in a fantasy world.. well, I'm sure you know what Ultima is lol. I'd have kept playing as I really enjoyed it.. but I didn't like the pay-to-win stuff.

    Currently Playing:
    nothing :(
