    Ultima Online/Sosaria

It wouldn't be so much as living in a mmo fantasy  world as simply coming home...

The above is my personal opinion. Anyone displaying a view contrary to my opinion is obviously WRONG and should STHU. (neener neener)

    Yeah. STO easy.

Makes you wonder why anyone in the Federation even bothered to have a job.  image

But the trouble with living in the Star Trek universe is there's always world /galaxy destroying dangers that kill millions if not billions at a time.

Not quite so rosy when you think about it like that. image

You answered your own question there, people in ST have jobs to protect themselves from the world/galaxy dangers!

Things are easier by far in New Eden, come to Eve and live in Empire, if you do die you are cloned. You can mine all day whilst relaxing on your ship and make enough isk to enjoy a life time supply of Quafe and other legal boosters ;-)

    Westeros somewhere in the north.

    Skyrim.

    Northrend.

The Chaos Wastes, or elsewhere in the northern areas.

    Somewhere bleak and frozen.

My home would be in Tyria in Divinity's Reach in a hidden away penthouse apartment with one whole wall of windows overlooking the lovely garden at the center of town.  Yes indeedy.

Tyria (GW2), Divinity's Reach, under the hope that some sexy Mesmer will teach me their ways.

Well, not TSW, that would be messed up!

Maybe Eve Online. I would love to live in the future..... or possibly Anarchy Online

I would say probably GW2 in Divinitys Reach though. Most pleasant(except for all those bloody Centaurs outside the gate) :)

That's easy, Precu SWG.  I had a beautiful home in a lovely city.  All my friends lived around me, the cantina was across the street and the shuttle port was close by.  I had my dog Lucky, a cute ingame GF, and enough chips to live comfortably.

Yup, those were the days.  Still miss my dog.  I have a pic of me and him watching the sun set from my porch, last day I played.  He was a good dog, but he knew how to get in trouble!

It's a true sandbox, Graphics are real life. Every detail is accounted for. Huge on social engineering. But it has some major drawbacks too. Like, the community sucks. The economy sucks. Everything is overpriced. Most payers would just as soon scam you as help you. But your friends list is long term. Those that do band together do so for a long time. Etc Etc.

yeah but you have perma death.   You also have to eat, drink, pee, poo, and sleep.  Graphics are indeed beautiful and performance is always butter smooth, but travel times are forever.

*edit: and if you damage your character you can be gimped for the rest of your play session.  Penalties are too harsh.

*looks at pictures of cities, looks at pictures of video games* Aesthetics > Graphics, imo.

    AO

    SWG

    EVE

    STO

In that order.   Not particularly interested in living in any Fantasy world.  Bad hygiene and lack of basic amenities would drive me nuts.

EVE Online. Distant future, space exploration, flying all kind of ships, being immortal. Yes please

Other then that I almost feel like living in Skyrim atm. With 100 best mods, complete graphics overhaul, 3DTV Play and HMZ-T1 it is as close to virtual reality as you can get.

    ArcheAge.

Love the art direction, and it's mostly sandbox.

EDIT: I would love to "live" in it, meaning gaming a LOT in it, but the actual idea to really live in a fantasy world does not appeal to me.

Hell, I would have settled for any SWG planet really (pre NGE of course).

I'm with you. I think I would be a crafter on Lok just like I was in game. But, I would go post NGE too.
