Damn, Entertainment weekly was wrong saying they "Saved rock". Their new album was OK. It was not as politically influenced as you think. Mostly about falling in love [icky for greenday] and making choices. It was not bad and rythmicly it was brilliant but calling Green Day the "Rock heroes" is too much. I almost screamed "PAYOLA!".

I did like how they did their transitions I guess you can say, while they were in the same song. I think track 2 was very well done, I dont really like the saint jimmy one and Shes a Rebel.

Well..... I don't really listen to Hardcore, i'm more of a fan of Metalcore when it comes to the "cores". But hardcore is quite alright (i'm quite a big fan of breakdowns ) But, as seeing that i'm a much bigger metal/techno genre fan than anything else, i'll decide on those. Hmmm, i'm going to say.......
Metal (Current): Dark Tranquillity
Techno (All Genres): DJCarbunk1e or bLiNd or GrayLightning (3-way Tie)
Metal (All time, including "core" genres): Bleeding Through, Emperor, Dimmu Borgir, Lamb Of God, Immortal, Dark Tranquillity, Metallica, Martyr A.D., Rammstein, Xasthur, Darkthrone, Rise Of Submission, Look What I Did, Almost Nothing (TN area).
Techno (All time, all genres): DJCarbunk1e, bLiNd, GrayLightning, Jon Hallur, Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, The Wingless, mutagene, Freemind, Ghetto Lee Lewis, Dhsu, Darude, Dale North, Daft Punk, 2MB, analoq.

I, actually think that their Post-"Enthrone......" albums were pretty good. Granted, I haven't listened to "Death......." yet, so I don't know the full story, but I will say, For All Tid is probably their best album Now, this is my opinion, but I personally can't stand Cradle of Filth, not that I can't stand Dani Filth (even though he does annoy me ), but I just don't like their music, just my opinion though. Now, i've heard GWAR's stuff is quite hilarious? Could you confirm that? Haha. Now, Emperor... there's a band.... and i'm a rising Children of Bodom fan, so i'm not to sure on those .

GWAR is most definitely a comedy band. They're metal...with a brass section. How could you take them seriously? What makes them great though is that they dont tie themselves to one style. Even on one album they'll switch between 3 or 4 different styles. All heavy and irreverent, but distinct.

Same. The lyrics of Meteora were just rehashings of theri first album. They went pop and now they are teh suck.
