Kyleran: "Now there's the real trick, learning to accept and enjoy a game for what
it offers rather than pass on what might be a great playing experience
because it lacks a few features you prefer."
John Henry Newman: "A man would do nothing if he waited until he could do it so well that no one could find fault."
FreddyNoNose: "A good game needs no defense; a bad game has no defense." "Easily digested content is just as easily forgotten."
LacedOpium: "So the question that begs to be asked is, if you are not interested in
the game mechanics that define the MMORPG genre, then why are you
playing an MMORPG?"
Many companies say things and then do the exact opposite. That is not really new or shocking, though I find it odd that some people believe companies would never do such a thing.
Additionally, if one were to be an apologist and make excuses for this one, then it'd be easy to figure out that DICE people can say whatever they want. But EA ultimately owns them and can make them do as they wish lest they be fired.
yeah never trust a company after SOE,I think that is now more or less a gameing commandment and lesson learn't.
Yet your sig is about raising money for what? Six chimps on a davenport?
Wouldnt it sound better with an honest "never trust a company unless they are making something you want"?
I dont play those FPS, but I bet they found that content doesnt pay for itself, and better yet, those FPS addicts are lining up to give companies money. Pretty sad when a new game plus all the map packs is gonna run ya 110 bucks.
Although I gotta say I still like that pricing plan better than cash shops.
Asking Devs to make AAA sandbox titles is like trying to get fine dining on a McDonalds dollar menu budget.
Well, they also said how true and large the maps will be to the Battlefield franchise. Which just so happens they were talking about Bad Company and not 1942, 2 or 2142.
