I just loved the shapeshifting... and one of my best memories of the game was flying around in flight form and looking at a friend in the ground being pwned by several mobs, drop down, shifting to cat form right before landing (cat has reduced falling damage) then shifting to bear (tank) to taunt the mobs off her and kill them..
I must say Druid is possibly one of the coolest classes in WoW, the shapeshifting is pretty epic, the only thing I never really enjoyed is the fact that it looks the same, and it bores me after a while, I wish gear would actually add some variation even if it was just some minor colouring changes.
From WoW however, and a really close second apart from the Dark Avenger in Lineage 2, is the Paladin in WoW, I really love everything about the class both gameplay wise but also lore wise.
Dark Avenger in L2 still takes the cake, they basically made a dark knight which dabbles into sorcery and dark arts without having to give him mental special powers, the Dark Panther was also a pretty epic pet to have, the first time I saw it just annihilate a mob that took a group to take down was pretty damn epic.
I have to say that every class in GW2 is an awesome class. In the beta weekends every time I tried out a new class it was my new favorite. I've tried playing other MMO's since but the combat seems so shallow in comparison.
My WoW druid was also a pretty neat class. One time a 10+ level warrior and his friend (forget his class) and they tried to gank me. I was running and shifting with them on my heels. I get to that pirate coast hop in the water and go seal form and swim deep. They continue to chase me thinking I was powerless. So I stop, stay at range, shift back to my Tauren form and root them both. The one gets away but doesnt go for air, he goes for me (the other is still rooted). The warrior charges and almost one shots me but my auto roots kicks in. I heal and get my range and start chain casting roots. He started frantically swimming for air, I kept casting but a few got resisted but one stuck right before he surfaced and he drowned. I couldn't keep the 2nd guy underwater but he left me alone after that. He must have really bugged his buddy though.
My all time favorite class from any MMO I have ever played (and I have played A LOT) was the Vampiir from DAOC. I am still looking for a game that has a class with the same playstyle. Any ideas?
What is your favorite MMO Class... EVER?!
Necromancer from EQ1. I could pull of so many things that others could not and I could solo, duo or group at will which was a huge plus. No other Necromancer has ever felt close to the power I had with the class in EQ1. I soloed PoP raid mobs shortly after the GOD expansion came out.
Close is Vanguards Necromancer but not quite as good as my EQ1 necro.
I did enjoy both the Warrior from WoW and the Conqueror in Age of Conan as well. I enjoy playing a tank class and a Necromancer class in all MMOs I play.
Bear Shaman from AoC. The game may have been meh in many areas, but I adored that class after I got it to 15. Never been able to quite rekindle how much I loved that class in any other game.
Playing: GW2 Waiting on: TESO Next Flop: Planetside 2 Best MMO of all time: Asheron's Call - The first company to recreate AC will be the next greatest MMO.

I bet OP was a claw spammer haha jk
My favorite was the bard from DAoC.
But the vamp is a tough fit, there was your typical spec that was very good, but the best Vamps were mix'd spec and they were un-stoppable. I don't think i've found a game with another class like it, so much synergy into every action. Spells that use power, but must use melle to get that power. Don't think we will see anything like it for some time too i'm afraid

I've always want to get into playing the necro/warlock class in each mmo. They often have the most unique story and creative abilities. The dot based damage always bothers me when I group though. By the time you stack your second or third dot, the mob is dead and I feel useless.

Monk in eq1. Being a puller was fun.
i wish more mmo's had more roles for the classes then they do now.
in eq your class had a more specific role to it other then just tank, heal, dps, or it at least felt like it did.
