Not possible to cancel pre-order??

I don´t find an option to cancel the two pre-orders, how can this be done? My credit card has not yet been charged and I don´t want it to happen. Also why is there no access to the official forum? This all seems kind of shady... or am I missing the right link?

Before anyone asks, "why!!", me and my GF are playing Secret World which turned out to be our type of game, also Planetside 2 at a later point, so.. we were a little bit too spontaneous with our credit card infos

If you prepurchased from Arena Net send an email to support@guildwars2.com

 

If you didn't prepurchase from them you need to contact whover you bought it from.

Well, the official forum is and has been in beta. As I understand, it should be available when the headstart launches (for headstarters at least).

Maybe because you pre-purchased . Pre-puchase and pre-order are too different things in this case . For instance on play.com you can pre-purchase the game which as part pf the deal you get beta access and three days head start . When you pre-purchase you get charged on the day you use your credit card . When you pre-order your credit card is only charged on the day of release . If you look at play.com you have option to both pre-purchase at 50 pound and pre-order at 35 . I'm guessing you thought you could do this play the beta and then cancel before release and sometimes that works but sometimes it doesn't . You should have read the fine print before you paid .

The good  thing is the card was not charged yet, followed the link and sent a message to support to cancel. Hope it works

Should be pretty easy then . Just cancel the card . Not sure why you didn't like the game though from what I've seen its the best mmo in 8 years . Still to each his own .

Well I played several other games and honestly the fans advertising GW2 all over the place made me a little sick. I generally don´t like hype because it smells fishy to me. Then I bought Secret World because I liked the setting and that totally drew me in, story, graphics, setting, modern weapons, investigations, puzzles, intelligent missions with so much variety. I´m not a huge pvp fan so after seeing some GW2 videos with frantically shooting and casting animals in a medieval setting I made up my mind to cancel the preorder. Simply not my type of game (hate WoW too) , but as you said, to each his own. That is why the game market has a huge variety in games...
