1. The ' send a tell with your skills, your gear, your stats and we will consider you for a place in our group ' people. If you do not fit the specific mathematically proven mold, you need not apply.
2. Tight knit group of players who have been friends for 3+ years and don't really venture out into the general player base.
3. The ' I don't even really try ' players. You know the people, who run in and face roll everything and ignore teamwork and rarely look at the chat bar.
This isn't exclusive to TSW, but for some reason it seems more accentuated in TSW then other games.
You're missing the casual cabals and players who just get together for fun. I just ran with a new group the other night -- had never met any of the folks, but we chatted and teamed up just fine, and no attitude at all. If you're talking one of the nightmare groups, there's plenty of casuals that run those too. There's even several whole forum thread to help people hook up:

I actually voted in that thread and I was somewhat vocal when the game came out. I really don't feel like re-expressing my negative opinion about the game's combat - especially since I have written it off for myself. I chose:
The ability wheel system is ok, but I dislike the feel/feedback from abilities, movement and dodging -12.1%
I just meant to express quickly and clearly what I personally found displeasing since the OP wanted a little bit of feedback.
