Today I was idly browsing our community forums and came across our Member Testimonials thread...its in our public forums.

http://www.tribegaming.com/showthread.php?9308-Member-Testimonials

That being said, some of our more recent testimonials have been from the FFXIV chapter. I'd like to share them with you today:
Chantrix: I joined Tribe back in 2009 for the release of Aion. We had great adventures placing siege on fortresses in mass battles. After a few months and I had to stop gaming for personal reasons I left behind Aion. Here we are 4 years later and I wanted to get into FFXIV to give it a shot. I had received an email regarding Tribe opening up a FFXIV chapter previously, so I looked up what server Tribe was on and rolled a lalfel (lawl, ah fell*over*).

I logged on, got onto mumble and said Hi. Got an immediate invite into the Free Company and it is as if I never left. Doesn't matter how long you have been away, Tribe will always be your family. Even if you don't write

Bloodgrave: I have been playing mmos for 15 years and came across many guilds during that time. I can truly say Tribes are one of the more organized, pleasant and highly active guilds I have seen in that time.

I think a perfect guild has a nice mix of fun/friendly community and serious talent to complete end game content at a high level. I found Tribe is nice mix of both at the same time. I am playing in our FFXIV chapter and I love the high activity level and willingness to help all the members. There are always friendly people talking and making groups on Free Company chat (guild chat) and on mumble.

I also respect the fact that they have a member application phase which can ensure the people who join are ones that actually want to be in the guild. It also is a good chance to get to know each other through the process. If you are someone considering Tribes reading this right now, I would recommend hoping on our voice chats and hanging out a bit and getting to know people.
Niyogi keeps beating me to my own story :P

It's ok, I just wanted to get on and tell everyone that Tribe is the real deal.  It is a community versus just a Free Company.  Get tired of ffxiv?  Well there are other active chapters inside Tribe Gaming that will accept you no questions.   Have to leave for a few years (deployment, wife agro, etc?), come right back and jump back in where you left off.

Check out the site, whisper the guides in game.  If you want, send a tell to Alfonso Chantrix and I will answer any questions you have about the free company.

We have a great community and are thriving in FFXIV ARR. It's been great getting to know part of the old crews from several other of Tribe Chapters as well as new members to Tribe and to FF in general.

Looking forward to another great week with Tribers and the rest of the Leviathan Community!

Our raid days are Tues-Thur. We currently have 6 groups going in coil split between 7:30-10PM CST & 7:30-10PM PST. We also have a casual CET (EU) group raiding which are currently in Turn 2.

We downed turn 4 in our first week of raiding on sep 27th. http://www.twitch.tv/sinizter12/c/3001000 link to a video of our kill.

The great thing about Tribe is since we have a very active company there are people from many different time zones. I have yet to log into game without 10+ people on, and usually it is 40+. As Niyogi said, we have 3 separate time zone raids, so most likely you can find a good fit for your schedule.

Just wanted to share what a new Tribe member thinks of our community, thanks to Davion for sharing.

"I have been a Tribe FC member for a few weeks now and can say without a doubt, the best FC to be in! Great people and events. Our leadership exemplifies true dedication to running an equal and motivated group. I enjoy spending time helping others and love the fact that when I need help, there is always a team member willing to assist. Its great to see the progression our raid teams are making in BC. There isn't an individual entity within Tribe, it is a team effort. So, if your looking for a progressive end game FC with great people, and you are willing to contribute to prosperous growth of yourself and the FC, TRIBE!"

We have had a lot of good applicants lately.  Check our website to see the application process and learn how a large free company can still have attention to our members!
• ChantrixChantrix Member Posts: 11
I wanted to share a good story from gaming tonight.  I was in need of help with my relic quest.  I mentioned it offhand in mumble and before I knew it, there was a full group of 7 other Tribe members including some new applicants.  Not saying this happens all the time, it just came out of nowhere and really pleasantly surprised me.  I didn't even ask for help and people were willing to.  You know what?  I was the one offering help on several occasions prior.

That is what you do in a gaming community.  Check us out here in Tribe.

We need a few more raiders for both our CST and PST groups. Times are 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM, both CST and PST!
• NiyogiNiyogi Member Posts: 28
We aren't so much looking for Roles or spots we're looking for both casual members for the Free Company/forums for a good place for people to come and have fun as well as people that are skillful for coil. We have 7 separate groups per week right now and have plans to go to 10 soon

We raid 3 days a week (Tues/Weds/Thurs) We have 3 raid times PST CST and CET. PST is 7:30-10pm PST (9:30-12AM CST), CST is 7:30-10pm CST (5:30-8 PST) and CET is changing it's time slightly but is PST equivalent from 9:30-12:30 PST or 11:30-2:30 CST. Currently we have 3 groups on PST and 3 on CST with 1 CET.

Turn 4 is complete and on average we have 3 groups of the 7 working on Turn 5 in the week.

This is a recent addition to the member testimonial thread from Lawlz/Lauren

I started playing World of Warcraft about six months after it was launched. From that time until now I have ben in a handful of guilds, some raiding and some social. I've known hardcore raiders, and I've been a hardcore raider, and most of the time, being a hardcore raider also meant being just a little bit elitist, especially if you were doing well compared to other guilds.

I recently joined Tribe after looking for a social raiding guild or the World of Warcraft forum. My husband and I had come off a 2 year break from WoW, all our friends had left WoW and we found ourselves in the market for a guild. I have to admit, when I was initially offered to apply to Tribe I was a little hesitant. I had known raiders of this caliber, and I wasn't sure that I wanted to be in another elitist guild. We decided to apply and see what we thought.
During the application process, I chatted with a couple of members of the guild on Mumble and in game. They seemed really nice, but I was still worried. After our application was accepted, my worries evaporated within 24 hours.
Somehow, this guild has kept its heart and stayed humble. In my entire eight years of playing this game, I have never felt more comfortable in such a big guild with such amazing raiding progression. I've only been here for a couple of months, and I have laughed, cried and had an absolute blast with these guys and girls. Blizzard has suddenly become big on saying "WoW is better with friends", well I honestly feel like I've been adopted into a family upon joining Tribe. Where in the gaming world these days do you get a group of gamers that knows each others first name? That actually want to know the person they're playing with, rather than the character the person is playing? Not many places.
Gamers are so often seen as anti social beings. People who would rather live with their heads inside a make believe world than socialise with real people. MMO's are the exception, but even so, it's so rare to have a guild that is so close knit.
I'm very thankful to have found myself here. Thank you, Tribe. You're kinda awesome =)

Thanks Lauren, you're kinda awesome too!!!

Hey all,

Just thought I would let everyone know that I am now one of our recruitment guides so if you have any questions regarding Tribe or want to run something send me a tell ingame (Alfonso Chantrix). I am especially looking for any Hawaiian players since thats where I live and would love to have more island in Tribe.

Cheers!

I'd like to point out that Sharess is a little crazy sometimes, and some how sweet-talked Tribe's FC members to join him for two Titan HM's for his relics (as well as a few other members getting their relics that night, like Niyogi!). Just proves how much we care for our community :)

I'd like to make note that we are looking for some raiders currently in both our CST/PST and even our Night Own and CET raids to reliably show up and perform to the level BCOB is requiring.

Times are as follows

(Tues/Weds/Thurs)

CST is 7:30-10pm CST

PST is 7:30-10pm PST

CET is 7pm-10pm CET which is 1pm-4pm EST or 12am-3pm EST/10am-1pm PST

We have between 5-7 groups that go in weekly.
