1. Does D&D 4e have typical mob damage reductions / immunities ? Like skeletons being weaker vs crushing and have damage reduction vs slash/pierce ?
2. Does Neverwinter's adaptation of 4e have the above feature ?
thanks.

No, 4e does not have slashing/piercing/blunt damage. Weapon attack powers generally do untyped damage. Damage types such as fire/cold/poison/force do exist and have associated resistances.
Neverwinter does not seem to use damage types at all. There is a generic damage resistance stat.
Neverwinter is loosely based on 4e ruleset
So loosely even AC doesnt follow the same rules, stats doesnt give you same bonuses, and you actually can not invest points in skills - neither any dice rolls are visible...
Go figure.
Unlike devs saying that game is based on 4e, the gameplay is not based on 4e mechanics.
They did a good job of creating and implementing their own type of gameplay mechanics, then they masked it to imitate 4e a bit. The mechanics need more work to make that 'imitation' of D&D better, but the base is not copied from PnP 4e.
