World of Tanks don't care about their playing and paying members

Bit of a title huh, so let me back this up.

Many of you will know this addictive tank game that has become a success for their Wargaming owners.

The game has now been out of beta for well over a year. It has had many updates along the way in terms of better graphics, new physics and plenty of new tanks for players to either grind towards or select to pay for!

Naturally the game is made so the last few tank levels are almost impossible to get without spending some money, nothing wrong with that. A good game should be rewarded by those who play.

So far so good, until it comes to those people who for whatever reason would like to transfer their account to a different server. There are many good reasons why players want to move, but typical either a player started on the wrong server or have since moved country. An example is a US service man moved to Europe as part of his job. The common thing is that these players have made a huge investment in time and money in their accounts. We are typical talking 10000+ battles taking 5-15 minutes each and hundreds of dollars spend on in game gold.

Wargaming now has over 1000 people employed worldwide. They have 3 times offered free account transfers from any of their main servers (RU, EU and NA) to their newest server SEA. So clearly they have the tools to do the job and I guess they could do with a few more players on this new server, so it works for Wargaming. In the mean time for over a year I and 1500 others have voted and kept one forum thread live, asking for a transfer option from the US to EU server. The forum is locked to the server but we know of people that want to more the other way too (makes sense right). But no matter how much we ask we get told no by Wargaming. It has a huge effect on us as players. We are already so far into the game that we want to play the end game, this is Clan wars, but when you are located in Europe they take place in the middle of the night and our ping and lag range from just about playable to really bad.

On the NA (North American) server we even made a clan just for people who want to transfer and its getting close to the max clan limit: http://worldoftanks.com/community/clans/1000006345-NA2EU/

The long running forum thread can be found here: http://forum.worldoftanks.com/index.php?/topic/121474-switch-servers-need-your-support/

Guys and Girls...

We are looking for your help here. We are trapped in a game we love but left to rot by the people who made it.

We want to play and we want to participate in clan wars. We have offered to pay for transfers. We know Wargaming has the tools to transfer players, but for some reason we cannot understand they don't want to move us. We would spend more money on the game as soon as they moved us, so it would make financial sense to do so apart from just having happy customers.

What can we do to get moved? As a player we have NO rights. We have elected in our clan not to spend any money on the game until we get moved, but that does not seem to bother them either. Can you help us? What can we do to get Wargaming to see our problem and transfer us? Many of us helped them during beta and by buying into the game when it first launched.

The only option you have is to vote with your wallet, or login time. Seems you folks are fairly organized , should be worth trying to setup a day offline. If that doesn't work and goes over well, move it up to a week. Keep communicating with gaming forums across the web, let their practices be known. Send in letters to the developers, real letters not emails or forums. Call their headquarters ... if they won't listen to your community ( without a reason ) move onto the " We're going to annoy you until we get a reason, or our request " campaign. You'd be amazed what you can get done by sending the right person letters, phone calls, and pm's.
