framerate

in Dragon's Prophet
i am getting 5 frames per second with everything off in nvidia and everything off and or to the lowest possible setting with in-game graphics settings. Is this a beta thing or what. Terra played much better in terms of framerate and it had all the background graphics going on and higher settings.

    so low ugly settings gives that poor framerate even tho u can play terra with much better graphics & settings?

    well...now im not that dissapointed at missing my beta keys then.

     

    Saw the exclusive mmorpg video with dev & i gotta say it looked terrible and he was having major frame rate issues( i assume hes got high end pc )

    Put the settings on low everything.  The game will look like freaking Everquest 1,  but still have the requirements of something like Terra because of the needless crap you can't turn off, just lower.  Which is kind of sad..

     

    But yeah, the problems should be almost expected considering the game feels more like an alpha with all the bugs and issues..

    Nothing like just walking towards a random monster, getting ready to attack it, and.....falling through the ground itself to nothingness and instant death because of all the spots in the world that are seemingly not finished..  Have also jumped into the sky after climbing stuff..

    running smooth 60 fps at max settings here.. not sure why you are having issues.. system specs?

    I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall.     I have 15-20fps even after I turned off FXAA and lowered all distance and shadows settings. Very frustrating.

    System specs are:

    i7 2600k@ 3.4Ghz

    16Gb RAM

    GTX 580 with 320.00 beta driver

    Win 7 64 bit

    Someone in-game said poor performance might be because of hyperthreading with the i7. I don't know - it's the first trouble I've ever had with a game.

    Oh snap, i have far weaker laptop (core 2 duo 2.7ghz, geforce 240m 1g, 6 gb ram) and have the same framerate on the lowest possible settings, it's just ridiculous, i thought it was just me because of my system specs, but now...
