Any online games similar to Lord of Ultima or Stronghold Kingdoms that are worth playing?

I like the idea of building up a kingdom and joining factions and setting up trade routes - but just about every game I've played in this genre is a 'play while you're at work' experience that limits you to an hour or so throughout the day. That, or, it's just an all around pay to win which isn't all that fun.

 

I'm not sure if that's possible given the nature of the game, but I just want to dive into a game and actually play it.. rather then signing on for 15 minutes and starting the 6 hour building queues and signing back off again..
