Will there be a server for new folks only?

in Final Fantasy XIV
There is something underwhelming about being on a server when a game launches and there already being folks at max level (because of the 1.0 folks). I mean it's nice of SE but I think I'd want to play on a server with a fresh start... Anyone else agree? Thoughts?

    Yes there are servers for just new folks. Legacy characters are on pre-determined legacy servers.

    The game has:

     

    1. Fresh servers - everyone starts at level 1

    2. Legacy servers - old and new players mixed

     

    Can choose either one.

     

    Plus old players cannot join the fresh servers at launch, wont be able to for like 3 months or later. Well unless they create a new character.

    Glad to read this news... was a little concerned myself.  I think its fine of SE to offer the legacy folks a chance to keep their old toons.  They are making a lot of good choices so far...

    All Legacy servers named after recognizable weapons.  Rest are named after  the FF summons and beasts.
