1.) Is there some type of auction house / active ?

2.) Can you move gear between your characters or is most of the gear BOP 

3.) How is the crafting - is the gear meaningful ? Any crafted BIS ?

1.  Yes and it is tied to player housing which is really cool imo.  Anyone can buy from the market, you talk to a market guy in player housing and you can refine searches or search for specific item names.  But to sell, you will need a house and a consignment merchant on your porch.  Pretty easy to get, just gotta play some.  Its very active for things people want.

2.  A ton of the gear is not BOP like other games.  A small amount is BOP.  If you have a house with vaults you can swap gear around.  But to transfer gold you will need a friend or a second account.  OR you can sort of do it by selling stuff on your auction house merchant.

3.  Yes and Yes.  I see people asking for crafted items like weapons and armor. Quality is very important.  Also, spell crafters (putting buffs on gear) are in high demand.  Alchemists like all games make coin.  I have 3 armor pieces I use for best in slot for my template (they are spell crafted) as a healer.  Masterpiece weapons are very good.  I know a guildy of mine that crafts masterpiece weapons and sells them regularly on the auction house.
