I am excited for Wildstar because I can no longer stand tab-targetted MMOs. I have played many MMOs, from GW to WoW to Darkfall and many others, and I am looking for something I can really hang my hat on for a long time. The combat looks interesting. The depth to PvP, especially in team arenas, looks to be outstanding. The emphasis that Carbine gives to endgame in Wildstar looks extremely promising.
TL;DR: There looks to be A LOT to do in Wildstar, and I long for a game that will keep my and my guild mates' attention for a long time to come. I hope that Wildstar will be that game.
I have just signed up to this site to enter the giveaway (smooth start.)
The reason why I'm excited for Wildstar, is because I have a long and stretched out experience with MMO's, including such horrendous things as Mu-Online, the glory days of World of Warcraft, and even grindfest games(I was on of those fellas that didn't bot in Silkroad online and got quite pimped out). As you might have guessed. I am disappointed with the current "wow killers"(GW2, what ever other game promised to kill it), and Wildstar kind of gives me hope. I can't explain why, but I feel no "hype " from within me, as in believing it will be the next WoW or Everquest(some people claim it was the best mmo ever. Won't do to arguing), but instead promising us to bring some challenging content. It's just my guts saying this, but the style, humor and play style is something I personally like, that's why I want to see for my very own eyes what Carbine made, and to evaluate if the hype I gave it was too little or the decent enough.
In the end, I just want to play Wildstar, because, why not? A new, fresh mmo from a studio that houses the TBC design crew.
Honestly I have been waiting for this game for what seems like forever. I would love to give it a good ol' test, but regardless i plan to play Wildstar when it finally is released.
I have been waiting for this game for a little over a year now. I have been watching is closely, as it is my most anticipated title of this year. I am hoping the game will breathe new life into the genre for me. I can't wait for the dungeons/adventures with that beautiful combat system.
I've been playing GW2 for a while now and have always felt they needed to improve some of the gameplay aspects (class structure, pvp stick out to me). I got a chance to try ESO and found it kinda bland and way too serious. Then got a Wildstar beta weekend invite a few weeks ago and what a great surprise! Funny, brand new ip that more sci fi based (reminds me of Ratchet & Clank), and above all super fun to play This game came out of the blue for me and I haven't been this excited about a release in a very long time!
I live in cologne, germany. We have fashing this weekend, u know, annoying music, drunken kids,.. i need something really really cool that i dont want to leave my house.
Ah and my girlfriend left me yesterday *@÷##&!&!(@(

Wildstar looks like a great new MMO and I cannot wait to give it a try.
Looking forward to testing, having fun and seeing what the Telegraphy system is like for PVP. Thanks in advanced
I love MMOS!
I've been having my eyes on Wildstar for a while now and it would be awesome to try it out
