Bought 2 Imperial editions on the day they came out from the Zenimax store. Not too worried about discounts, I never really followed this game, saw a few vids over the last year that looked crap. However I am in between games at the moment like many of u and I got a beta key 3 betas back, I have been converted ever since.
Conversion was not instantaneous it was on the Sunday evening of the 1st beta I played, I just suddenly realised I had been playing 8hrs straight and was having a blast!!! (2nd Imp edition was for my friend a late Xmas prezzy).
Originally posted by MikeB I have the physical Imperial Edition pre-ordered. Moar statues!
My thoughts exactly! I got mine pre-ordered, and I'm glad I did, some of my friends are saying they can't find the physical one anywhere. I always liked the Imperials. They remind me of Romans, and I love the Roman Mythos /pointsatsig
Also, it seems that any game that I'm playing or plan on playing. If it comes with a CE that has a statue or figure, I just gotta buy it lol. I have so many cool statues and boxes in my game room Batman Arkham Origins had probably the best CE
Best Buy offers 20% off of gaming with their club. PLUS another $10 cert for preordering. So in essence, I'm paying $80 for a physical edition (to display with my MMO statues of shame (KOTOR, GW2, Defiance)). Then $10 certificate and because it was 80 bucks I get that many more points added back for extra certs. Sure why not.
Time is money, and the ability to have a cheap horse early definitely helps save some time running around. I don't know if it's $20 worth, but that and the fact I did want to have an Imperial character made it a fairly easy call for me.
I ordered the Imperil Edition (physical) for PC sometime early February from Gamestop. I know there is a lot of stigma surrounding the imperial and preorder packages but I was never aware of any boycotts.
Imperial Edition box for ~140$... sometimes I really would like to live in US.
I actually bought it just becouse of this video. They seriously should record Lawrence Schick reading all the lore books in game, so you can listen to them while playing. This alone would make it worth to subscribe.
One thought I want to share:
I belive that digital Imperial Edition is just a standard, full edition of the game. I conside the "Standard Edition" to be a cheaper version for people who either are not willing, or can't afford to pay the full price (and I think it's great that such option exists)
Also, I wouldn't call digital Imperial Edition a "Collectors Edition" (as some people do). I wouldn't call any digital version of a video game a "collectors" version, since it's availble in unlimited numbers. In fact, I wouldn't use a word "collectors" to describe anything non-physical, but that's just my opinion. I love to hold real box in my hand, look at real map, read real book, admire real statue and so on. I hope that game developers never stop makeing physical versions of their games. For a game series like "Elder Scrols", where there is such a big emphasis on lore and where books are such big part of the game itself, beeing able to own a real thing that you can hold in your hand, with a real book as part (best, in my opinion) of it, feels almost like a necessity.
Digital Imperial Edition for me. I haven't bought a physical game for years. Doubt I ever will again, tbh. I generate enough trash anyway and the stuff that usually comes with it, the novelty wears off pretty damn quick.
Why do I write, create, fantasize, dream and daydream about other worlds? Because I hate what humanity does with this one.

Not really many listed on Ebay. Not sure if this was meant to be funny.
First CE I ever bought
Green Man Gaming had it for 64$ so only 4$ more than standard.
The savings of 17k in gold for my first mount will come in handy as a hardcore crafter

Just getting standard digital, only thing I really want in Imperial edition is the horse, but I guess I'll just have to actually work for my mount :P
