There are tons of bot in pubic dungeons videos.  Look 3 of them to have a small taste.

    Ok, whats the news? Most of the readers in here already now that. Eso is not the only game that have this problem. Could you please put up some links on the swarming bots in WOW, Black Temple and Naxx?

    And for us who actually play Eso, we have also already seen them.

    That's the first time I've seen something like that, in any MMO.. that is just unbelievable. How Zenimax can let this carry on I don't know, it's beyond ridiculous.

    Often it's also the players fault. Seeing the bots, saying ahh bots, leaving the doungen. Instead of atleast report one of them combined with a screenshot.

    It could be multiboxing bots , but still they are bots , unless the video uploader is trolling us.

    I, personally, screen shot report every bot I see. It used to take me 10-20 min in a dungeon for just the reports. Once you get out of the beginning areas there are far less bots, in my experience.

    Most of what looks like multiboxing is actually bots. You can tell by their actions, and often do things trick them into leaving the boss area by getting them to chase unintended targets across the room, then they will sit there for hours just killing a random mob over and over instead of the boss.

    Multiboxers in PvP amuse me. We had a few in WAR as well. It was funny how terrible they were even with characters all focusing a single target. Usually they liked to run Engineer or Magus multiboxers capable of also setting 5 turrets / pets each. There was one guy in particular who did this for a couple years as an engineer. I think he managed to kill me once when I first ran into him, after I realized what he was doing it was easy pickings and 5 free kills for a bunch of RR.

    Nobody has been denying there are a lot of bots and gold sellers in the game, so not sure what rock youve been hiding under. Sure you'll get the random post here and there from someone who hasnt really done more than a dungeon or 2 and may have gotten lucky and loaded into one empty of bots, but the vast majority of the population is very aware they are there. Or maybe you missed this whole thing thats been going on where they get talked about constantly and there is a patch which will attempt to curb them.... oh right. They're acknowledging it and trying to patch in a solution to the bots because we all insist they don't exist. Makes perfect sense. Nice trolling though.

    A week ago no bots? did you just made that up?

    Anyone even if not effected is worried because in the end it might effect us aswell in some way.

    And yes every game has issue's, kinda the reason why we see years old MMORPG's or MMO's keep getting patches, sure you can ignore the facts but that's what it is.

    When you have 6 characters being multiboxed all with names like "xfgjnfj" (except maybe for one with a name like "Ya Pigu" ) you can make a pretty safe assumption that you're looking at a commercial gold farming operation...which usually means they are all botted.

    The first two are from THE EXACT SAME DUNGEON!

     

    Again people on the forums blowing stuff out of proportion. The Last video is the only serious botting video, and again, yes thesep layers should be dealt with. 

     

    But the multiboxing on the fist two videos, is from the same level 4 dungeon, where mob spawn is so prevalent it does not hinder gameplay at all.

     

    People posting about how they cant kill any boss mobs are gain over-exhaggerating because there is not boss mobs in that level 4 dungeon!

    Those aren't bots.  Bots are not under human control...those toons are under human control.

    Kinda hard to tell one dungeon from another when you copy paste dungeons . May be that is why they look exactly the same.

    You recognise bots, because they all react at the same moment, and sheat their weapons after every fight...

    They dont react to tells

     

    i make it my duty to report every single one of them, is just a matter of finding out who is campin.. And what are the bots

    It seems to be a main problem in every popular MMO, farming for gold and spamming for goldselling.

    It is very irritating and I hope that Zeni will solve the problem, but Im not that positiv, cheaters will always be in the frontseat.

    There's a big difference between mobs running in the open fields and bots camping in public dungeons tough.

    People are well aware that you're not powerfull, dont get excited lol. The truth is, this is eso forum and eso's problem and you're just trying to play it down. The fact that zeni isnt the only company which didnt implement necessary mechanisms to protect players from hacking assholes doesnt mean anything. They decided to go cheap, now they get what they saw.

     

    Well as I wrote, Im not that powerful, so Im not excited over something I do now Im not. Its your words not mine.

    The fact and truth is that botting is a problem in every major MMO and not even Blizzard has yet solved the problem.

    I do agree with you that its Zenis problem and I hope they will solve the problem because its really annoying.

    I do also have a feeling that this thread is not about the problem with bots, but about trashtalking Eso and Zeni. Am i right?

    So how to fight these camping bots?

     

     

    there needs to be more dynamic things happening, killing bots every other 3 fights because the bots should have a problem with dynamic things...

     

    so for instance, when a player kills the bossmob for the 5 th consecutive time...  There could be a patroll  of elite mobs entering the stage and killing the botters   And chasing off the campers.....  Solution use ingame mechanics to fight this..

    I kinda like the bots at boss locations. Makes it easy to stay and get all the loot I want before moving on. I still report them, but i'll miss them when they're gone.

    Mostly i dont even get any loot, despite my efforts in doing damage....  Its often death before i get a chnace to target it by hand...

    Getting really frustrated with the amount of bots and bugged quests. people can ninja loot your chest if you just opened it and the forever loading screens.

    i love the people who are ether so new to mmos or just stupid that claim ESO is the only mmo with bots. Play a free to play one...hell here is a GREAT example..mabinogi, you will see the SAME system on there as ESO, Not before you come to the defense of "well its a pay to play game" so is WoW and i have seen the same thing. what it boils down to is there will ALWAYS be these bots, why because people buy the gold and power levels from them. If no one bought anything from then they would not exist but there are thousands of lazy people who enjoy the "here i just bought this game takes some extra and play it for me!"
