Is it possible to switch between NA and EU megaservers from one account?

Downloading the game at the moment and was wondering if it's possible to switch between the NA and EU servers from a single account and utilize both? I know there is an option in the client thing but not sure if I will have access to both if I make an account on one. I'm from the UK but have Canadian friends on the NA servers and English friends on the EU servers.. can I make a separate character on both servers from a single account or will I need to buy a second account?

    You can switch between megservers in the client, click the 'ring' in the top right hand corner of the client. But you characters are only on the Megaserver they where created for.

    Great, I might switch to NA then as I like reading the chat but understanding it is nice as well ;-)

    I did it but I had to download the whole client again :(
