Don't know bout you guys but I'm lovin' the game right now.
I really don't agree with some of those harsh negative reviews (such as Angry Joe's). If you play the game with the understanding that more good things are on the way, you will be very pleased. If you play the game constantly comparing it to single-player TES games, of course you will not be happy.
Oh and Kudos to Matt Firor for a great letter to players! Communication is ALWAYS key. Most people will understand if you apologize and let them know you are doing your best to fix things. I only wish he wrote it sooner.
All MMO's have missing features at release, they get the most important stuff first, MMO's are never done , so confused by this comments, the game is brand new, look at WOW's release, it was so bad and yet its a one of the most successful MMO's, how quickly we forget.
So people need to understand how development of MMO is like, you have no idea the hard work it takes to make one, some of you need to be more understanding, the comments made how ESO is in trouble makes me laugh, I have a guild of over125 users, and we always have over 55 or more on all the time, so I see people every where, I think people are mad they can't play as they want it free, well guess what I hope it never goes free , better games, better updates and better community.!!!! Dream on for your free to play ..You guys have plenty of junk to play go play it.
The "Road Ahead" sounds like the type of direction that gives me some promise with the game. I have no problem paying a sub if I'm getting new content and good entertainment from it. This was the whole premise of the sub model in the first place. I know the odd's are against it, but I'd love to see a company actually stay true to that premise.
It will be very interesting to see where the game is in a year.
Ok, first off, to all the people saying that these should have been there at launch, says who? I can say that about anything, it means nothing. It's just silly saying X should have been there at launch, especially considering a lot of these are pve/pvp content additions. It's like WoW launching and people saying that WoW should have included Outland, Northrend and the Emerald Dream.
THis actually reminds me of all the stuff that WoW said they were "working on" that never came to fruition. Do you guys remember their talks about the Emerald Dream? Yet we never saw what could have probably been the most compelling content in WoW.
Anyways I am quite happy about some of these - justice systems, more guilds, Imperial PvP dungeon.
Mission in life: Vanquish all MMORPG.com trolls - especially TESO, WOW and GW2 trolls.
I don't agree with people saying "this should have been in the game already" why? World of Warcraft is still making quality of life improvements and bug/balance fixes 10 years in. As are most mmo's its naive to think otherwise

EVERY new MMO that has launched had posts that say "should have been in at launch". Even WoW had those posts when it first launched. To those posts, ignored.
I'm still waiting out for more PVE content for the casual player. So far in the reviews and youtube vids, I've seen it's mostly PVP content. I'll resub if i see more PVE content after level 20.
You must be confusing games. ESO is predominantly pve content.
Like Skyrim? Need more content? Try my Skyrim mod "Godfred's Tomb."
Another way of saying Thanks for the money on this far from finished game and keep paying monthly while we complete the game. This game should of stayed in the development process for another year or 2, it gives P2P model a bad name.

Right, cause there are any good P2P games left. They all converted to F2P remember. Nowadays it seems only WoW can command a sub. Lets see what happens with ESO. OOh and I completely disagree with you.

I'm sorry to be "that guy", but because those are so awesome features, i have to say it: Many fo those should have been there at launch. Specially the EU megaserver being in europe. It's great that ZOS is trying, but why do these things only come "later down the road" when some fo those are so important, like seeing other players because phasing?
BTW, knew it. PVP dungeon in the Imperial City. Never played DAOC, but it seems like it's going to be like Darkness Falls.
The thing with EU megaserver not be in EU have to do with that did not found internet company that could proved a server until last week before the early access so that is why it is still in US
A system that allows grouped players to see each other even when they’re in different phases
......
It was a long and nice list of new features for the future. The first one was maybe the most interesting, that they want to change this ES Solo game to an MMO that you can play with friends.
To bad some have already left because of this.
For me I resubbed for one month, I belive that will be enough to play through the content and reach lvl 50.
ESO must have lost a crap load of players, this patch reeks of desperation.
I've just seen the game price of ESO below US$30, plus the seven friends I played with are letting their sub's go dormant, I wonder if this is the slow slide into Oblivion.

While that is true i think the comments are more directed at the data center and the grouping. These kind of things are defo something that should be there at launch, the rest of the list, if i didn't miss anything is like you, said stuff you add and fix over time.

Awesome update ahead!!!!
Love everything they are working on!
"Migration of European Megaserver to our European datacenter." FINALLY!!!!

The above is my personal opinion. Anyone displaying a view contrary to my opinion is obviously WRONG and should STHU. (neener neener)

This sounds promising. Roll on Thieves and Dark Brotherhood
