I've been enjoying ESO a bit more than I'd originally thought I would, especially based on how I did not really like it that much in beta. Now that I've been playing for a few weeks, I feel I may be able to actually play a character or two to the end game for a change...
Anyway - one of the things I like the most is trying out different oddball builds, that is builds that go outside of the traditional archtypes ... see what works and what does not.
So far, the best oddball build I've made is the Bow Templar... that is a Templar, Bow, Medium Armor. Skill mostly in Healing and Bow line, medium armor passives for stamina regen. Very easy to play, can solo and group well. Decent dps and fairly sturdy in pvp/pve.
My second oddball build has been a Nightblade Mage - think Warlock... that is Nightblade, Destro Staff, Light Armor. I've taking a sample of the various NB skills.. stealth, stun and heavy into destro staff. Light armor passives for magicka regen.
I've had varying sucess for some other oddballs - but the above two I've played primarily. What are some oddball builds you've had success and/or fun with?
