The last time Zenimax listened to the 'community' that made sweeping changes to the starting quest line and as a result completely broke the whole continuity of it; anyone who didn't see how it worked prior to that has a high chance of being confused by it. So I hope that don't listen to just a part of the community again.
i so agree with tthis 100%.
if the game was deigned a certain way you either accept it or this is not the game for you, this just showed for me , how insecure Zeni are. i hope this changes in the future and they stand their ground at every decision they make.
WoW-has.
GW2-has.
TSW-has. (which is my favorite game to date)
Zeni need to stop beign puppeteered by the community and deliver a solid product.

I agree.
Even if they did manage to add BG's it would end up going horrible wrong and hurt the game in the long run.

Does mmorpg have any journalistic integrity? He writes the community has been asking, and that is blatantly wrong. A vocal minority want battlegrounds and arenas. MOST want no such thing. Most of us realize that would be bad for the pvp in this game.
Any graphical, audio, or gameplay restrictions not seen in other mmos but found in FFXIV can be blamed on one thing. PS3

Despite i dont like ESO i agree with this. Every game is what it is. Accept it or move. Simple

I think they should do it. A level 10 player trying to PvP against VR10 players just isn't going to be that competitive. But in a lvl 10-15 BG he could do fine. By the time the player does make the VR levels, and does want to engage in full PvP, they will already be experienced.
You can make similarities between ESO and DAoC's PvP, but the end feeling is very different. I am a huge fan of DAoC's PvP and found ESO to be sadly dissapointing.
Excellent reason not to offer a feature: because people would rather play this new thing than that other thing we need them to play, since that one would be boring with fewer players.
Yes ESO needs battlegrounds, all Theme Park MMOs do. Why? Because their "open world" PvP is a senseless, meaningless zerg-fest. Atleast in a battleground I dont need to worry about Zerging or running back and forth between the zerg battles after being inevitable zerged to death.
In one month I've done all the quests in the Daggerfall portion of the game, twice. (2 chars)
That was a full month of Walk to the arrow, press E, walk to the arrow. Press E!
Oh and when you did that, walk to the other arrow, press E and ignore what the pointy eared green skinned bastard is telling you. Cause really, screw the story. The quest was far too boring to get me to give a damn.
I tried doing dungeons. Got me around 20% of a full level, for each I did. ...the first time I did 'm. Then it went down to around 5% per dungeon. I was going to be a healer, but there's no point in that since I get to heal for around 2 hours every 10 levels. All the rest I'm solo in the wild, running to arrows and pressing E.
I fail to see how social interaction is what the game is about. The group content isn't worth the effort. Even in public dungeons where boss-mobs exist that need around 4 people to kill didn't involve me healing anyone or even talking. You wait, it spawns, you spam 2 attacks, it's dead and you run out without even bothering to read a name of your fellow 2 attack spamming companions or even the enemy you just blew away in a heartbeat.
I tried going to Cyrodiil. I spent 3 hours getting 1 keep. Standing on a trebuchet, firing every so often. Oh the fun I had... After 3 hours the gate was knocked down and my index finger was cramped. We then stormed in with a blaze of glory. Wait, did I say glory? I meant intense latency and framerate drops. I run an i7 with 4gb graph card. Before I went to ESO I played GW2, WoW, SWtor and Age of Conan AT THE SAME TIME with no framerate drops or latency. The hell is up with that?
But I digress, back to my awesome Cyrodiil adventure. When the keep was claimed, you know, by magic apparently cause no one saw a damn thing that was going on, we were to move on to the next tower to apparently do this again.
Shooting at a wall isn't PvP. It's Player vs Wall. Player vs Ornament. Wait, no. Player with 1 button to use vs pixelized ornament.
The next keep took 2 hours. Now both my index finger and middle finger were so cramped I couldn't even make the appropriate hand gesture when it was over and I ended up flipping my screen a peace-sign while shouting "Fuck this game!"
Give me smaller scale pvp. Give me experience rewards for returning to a dungeon. Don't force me to do a month worth of quests, to be rewarded at level 50 with another 2 months worth of quests that only involve pressing E and listening to elves talk with a godaweful cokney accent.
You made a lovely game, the scenery is amazing and the voice acting probably cost you a lot. But don't force me to explore every damn pixel of it only to end up in "Craglorn, a group quest area where you now get to have fun with those people you didn't talk to. We're sure you'll all enjoy getting your ass handed to you repeatedly as you play with people who have no experience on how to handle their class in a group setting as they soloed their way to V10."
And while you're at it, maybe you could look into the coalition of objects in cities. Running through walls is fun at first, but when you get stuck in stairs sink through bridges or end up in the foundation of the mages guild building for the 50th time the amusement fades swiftly.
TL;DR:
My name is Lockles and I won't return to ESO untill dungeons reward more experience or arenas/battlegrounds are added. Thank you.
No chars under 50 don't suck I have killed many people in PvP most v1-3. Anything over that for get it but that's how it should be bty this is my 3rd char and a bow nightblade lvl 15 ...... I think the game is great it could use some Polish and a few other additional things but for being out a very short time I luv this game ... Point is no matter what there is always going to be complaints doesn't matter what in the game
They should make a stand-alone, free 2 play, lobby battleground game out of what they already have ~ two games, one engine. That way they could add battlegrounds without messing with the MMO, give f2p'rs a version to enjoy, and create another revenue stream.

I'm all for tiered battlegrounds for 1-50 akin to Warhammer, but I like Cyrodiil being the big tamale for "bigboy PvP"
You know, like DAOC
The above is my personal opinion. Anyone displaying a view contrary to my opinion is obviously WRONG and should STHU. (neener neener)
