Rarest / most needed class at endgame?

lonelyrobotlonelyrobot Member Posts: 194

Just wondering what class is in highest demand for PvE raiding and such (for the sarcastic among you, I'm already aware that there are plenty of hunters and rogues). Thanks.

Priests cant do anything without them ...

Thanks. Any other suggestions? There's a large possibility that I'll be duo'ing with a priest for a significant portion of the game.

Priests are by all means needed, especially for pve... but if you are bored of that role, warriors are essential for tanking and holding aggro against several mobs - especially bosses, and if you want to play a versatile, and damn useful class you could go druid - they are the only class with an in-combat rez, which, although it has a 30-minute cooldown, is priceless.  The druids in WoW can shapeshift to fit different situations, including casting, tanking, stealthing swimming and running - all as needed.

As for Paladins (Alliance only) and Shaman (Horde Only) they are both useful in the end game for heals and their own varied uses, but I would personally prefer a warrior or a priest in their stead.

Regardless gl with whatever you choose :D

Oh, and every class can choose between 3 talent trees, so if you are teaming with a priest, and you want to be a priest, one of you being holy specced (healcrazy) and the other shadow spec (which gets huge damage output) ... can make a sick combination.

    Priests without a doubt.

Priest + Mage also is a very nice combination imo. You can get a lot of XP very fast using the right Area of Effect tactics, and the priest will have free water all the time ;).

Priest + Warrior also a good choice. Can't really go wrong with any of these choices.

Mediocre - 70 Undead Discipline Priest - Tarren Mill (EU)

Warrior/Preist is the best combo for end-game pve IMO.

I am currently a warrior and the fun factor is not very high until u can do well in pvp witch is around lvl 40 (plate armor) so go with a Priest since they are in high demand, and every one can use a healer on there side.... plus they OWN pvp !

Thanks everyone. I think I'm going to give protection-spec Warrior a shot, since I'll likely be grouped with a priest (I don't think it'd be too hard to start up a group with that combo).

no but seriously .. I agree with priest... although sometimes a couple of druids can substitute.

but I personnaly don't like going in with out a mage and a warlock.

gotta have sheep .. gotta have SoulStone... image
