Very interesting patch notes, adds a lot of stuff and pretty much changes the entire game around.
Although my only complaint is that a lot of the patch notes are pretty vague.
There's also a lot of outcry on the forums about the pvp gear stats. People aren't really sure whether this is just on pvp gear you buy from merchants or just a stat that comes on all gear including crafted/dungeons etc. Again, just the patch notes being very vague. But if it is pvp gear that you buy with honor from merchants I could see that being a huge issue for a lot of people.
The changes to way healing works is probably my favorite change. Atm hybrid classes with lots of healing were just annoying as all hell to try and fight. They could basically just out heal all your damage and do just enough damage to win against you. Hopefully this patch finds a balance.
I look forward to trying it out when it goes live.
For someone with a history of completely unbiased, and agenda free posting towards trion, I have to say that I'm really shocked you wouldn't list everything that's wrong in the patch.
I don't blame you though, troll feet can't taste good and you seem to put yours in your mouth a lot when you post about this game.
Given how fast they got this patch on the alpha server I don't really see why they couldn't have got the beta going already, or even why it's taking so long to get the game out. Or can someone in the alpha tell us if they put the patch up before they got the translation done?
Because it didn't seem to take them very long at all to translate those 70k words; so I'm wondering why the hell it's taking them so long to get this game out.
I only wish you could have experienced AA when it was being beta tested in Korea. It was truly one of the best MMOs I have ever experienced. From that point on XLGames has gone out of their way to dumb down content and turn it into a linear themepark. A shame really.
