State of the game
I cancelled my sub already but I just wanted to share my first week with this game.
My sub expires 10/28
below I will jot down some of the most grevious occurences going on in the game right now.
Hackers are transporting tradepacks from port to port and even bringing the gold trader to there spot effectively
breaking the economy and market.
Patron, archeum,and even founders are still without any land and are up in arms over in the forums...the date to jot down on the calendar is OCT 10-12 which is resub day and its not looking goood.
Users that purchased patron status withthe 10% off the marketplace got jacked as Trion removed it.
Goldseller spam was dealt with for a day but they are back with a vengeance.
One of the most horrible game breaking hacks is when a player SNIPES a demolished home while 50 plus onlookers all try to get the plot...literally you have 50-100 people trying to get the same plot of land that is how bad it is.
3 days ago a HACKER unleasshed 50 level 50 RED NPCs on major cities wiping out players.....check out youtube.
Bots running rampant constantly mining ore and farming lowbie areas day and night.
Certain AH items are being marked up by high yielding hackers with lots of gold...essentially breaking the economy
and the the market.
In the forums many are trying to unload their plots of land by selliing them at more than 300g .....
Auroria will be released in a couple of weeks and everyones bracing for the carnage of the promised land will be relased,
biggest worry is the hackers and their script programs who will take all the land???? take a guess...
I had 5000 labor points used em all up in 2 days and rigth now im out of labor points....if I had 5000 labor points as a patron what chance do F2P players have chance? labor points are used for EVERYTHING even opening up a sack with loot ......but dont worry there are some market items for CREDIT that you can purchase to get some more.
The way I see this game going XL and TRION are trying to squeeze everything out of the community that is playng.....by speaking with some of the beta folks nothing was fixed during beta and most of the hacks that were around then are still around now....this leads me to believe that TRION is going to let the game run as is....in hopes that it generates money....
once the threshold of cost vs. investment vs. earnings go reverse.....the serves will get merged and the inevitable will happen...
I am not trying troll or give the game a bad name....it is what it is...this game should have not been launched in NA/EU but $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ talks....and well you know the rest.

Oh and Callidor I read your post about only a small percentage of players using bots...welll
google archebuddy and you will see that if that small percentage of people in a server run that bot
it is devastating sadly it is happening right now.
Trion tried to tell me that a refund was "outside of their refund policies" I spent 20 hours in queue for the game and customer service on the early start weekend, and they tried to run off with my money. Thankfully my credit card compnay said thats BS and gave me the chargeback.
Caught trying to spin it again DMKano? Trion sold founders packs on the premise of exlcusivity. Not a damn person bout the founders pack for any other reason than getting in early enough to get land. Trion new ahead of time there wasnt enough to go around on the opening servers. They took advantage of people by leading to them to believe that buying the founders pack would get them land. You can literally go to their website and not one mention anywhere on the website is made of "limited land"

Not sure if you are a player or if you bought the Archeum pack but the players did not receive all the items and all the perks with the Archeum pack that was promised to them
Absolutely, I didnt get any of my stuff from the founders pack before I quit the failed headstart weekend

Too bad this topic is going to get derailed too. Even though OP has some legitimate concerns, i see the certain someone is already here to white knight the game to death and derail the topic.

So you choose to ignore the OVERWHELMING opinion of players to nit pick with semantics? Every thing in the OPs post has been commented on over and over by many, many players. And again, this is your defense, that his calendar math is wrong?

Trion should have tried to wedge DMKanos name in the title somehow. ArcheDMKanoAge, or something like that. Sorry Sir, but I keep reading so many negative posts about this game, and I commend you for trying to answer peoples opinions, but I think you may be losing the battle.
The official forums of any game somewhat reflect the State of a game. Never mind paid website reviewers critiques, I always look at what is going on in the general forums. ArcheAge general forums is full of toxic comments and the story is told there.

I admire the guys tenacity, but at this point he might as well deny global warming. I agree with you, when everyone is doggin the game pretty much everywhere, how can you argue?
A debate requires rebuttal, you have decided to circumvent the hundreds of players who have said exactly what the OP has said by calling out calendar math? Thats not a rebuttal thats a cop out.
I still don't get your point. What type of value do you place on forum posts? I've been here since 2012 and I barely place any. Half of the arguments are unfounded personal opinions being trumpeted as fact. Others claim to know the business and want to forecast doom.
All people do here is complain. About almost every single game from WOW to GW2 to TERA to SWTOR to you name it.
What makes AA different in that regard?
Funny these seem to be the same folks that wrote off GW2 ...they weren't right then and to be honest they aren't right now @ least DMKanos appears to have an opinion through experience
