Some questions from potential new players

I am looking to start a new mmorpg with my son (9) and had a couple of questions 

How much of the dropped  gear is BOE or BOP ? ( will I be able to share gear with him ) 

Is there any content suited for pairs or will we roll over solo content and not be able to handle group content ?

Is PVP accesible and fun at all levels ?

So far as I have seen everything is BOE and there's a very small amount that is BOP.  You can transfer all the bound items between characters on the same account though.

To Op, throught levelling to max vet level you will be able to buy or craft gear for yourself and your son no probs which will be competitive. Re pvp, get in at least one pvp guild, it's very much tactical warfare with groups of players abs immense fun.

Example last night, about 30 of my guild were in stealth and sizing up a fort for a siege when we noticed a small red squad had taken down a wall, so in our evilness we decided to sneak up behind the reds as they were taking the inner wall and smash thrm to pieces, unfortunately one of their scouts must have spotted us - the small group of reds was bait, we charged in laughing saying 'they won't know what hit thrm boys' only to turn a corner to find a veritable army with siege in wait - we got smeared , awsome fun
