To consoles next month
http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/176211/experience-point-boosters#latest
Next week, we’ll be adding two different Experience Point Boosters to the PC/Mac game client: One that you can purchase from the Crown Store, and one that you can craft to use yourself or sell to other players for in-game gold. These two items will be available for Xbox One and PS4 next month.
The Crown Experience Scroll, as the name implies, comes from the Crown Store and can be purchased for 1,000 crowns for a pack of 10. A single Crown Experience Scroll lasts for 2 hours, and gives you a 50% boost to Experience gained from any and all sources – any time your Experience Point bar moves, it will move 50% further.
Psijic Ambrosia is the version that is available in-game. It gives the same magnitude of boost to Experience Points gained as the Crown Experience Booster (50%), but only lasts 30 minutes. However, Psijic Ambrosia is considered a drink, and thus works with Provisioner passives that affect drinks! We’ll get into this more below.
When can you use these?
Both Psijic Ambrosia and the Crown Experience Scroll can be used at any level or Veteran Rank. Their boosts apply towards advancing your level, advancing your Veteran Rank, and for advancing your Champion Points. They do not apply towards things that don’t work off of Experience Points, like the Mages Guild and crafting skill lines.
What stacks with what?
The Crown Experience Scroll and Psijic Ambrosia do not stack with one another, or with themselves. If you attempt to use one right after the other, you’ll fail to use the second item (but will still exist in your inventory.) You can only have one consumable Experience Point Booster active at a time – if you’ve just consumed a Psijic Ambrosia, you cannot consume another Psijic Ambrosia, or a Crown Experience Scroll, until the first Psijic Ambrosia’s duration runs out.
These consumable Experience Point Boosters will stack with all other sources of Experience Point boosting such as the Rings of Mara, ESO Plus, your Alliance owning enemy keeps, or being in a group.
Note that although Psijic Ambrosia is considered a drink for the purposes of Provisioning, it doesnot prevent you from also having a food or drink buff active. This means you can drink a Psijic Ambrosia, immediately drink some Red Rye Beer, and you will have both effects active on you.
This has two important consequences:
Taken together, someone who is both a fully-ranked Brewer and Connoisseur creating Psijic Ambrosia for their own use will get a total of three hours and twenty minutes of Experience boost from a single crafting of the recipe.
We’ll detail exactly how you can craft Psijic Ambrosia in next week’s patch notes.

how so?

you can get 3 hours and 20 minutes out of a single caft with those 2 maxes passives
single craft = 4 x drinks each at 50 minutes per drink.
in b4 pay2win cash shop whining
This is probably the best I have seen EXP Potions handled. I honestly was not expecting them to actually be available to craft in game.

I feel bad for Kano, whenever someone feels that "he steps out of line" ArcheAge gets mentioned. Hahahaha.
On topic; yes i think this is great news.
I must be getting old...but I thought you just typed Kano was a big fan of ESO and the publishers.

Great news! I PVE roughly 12 hours each day so these will cut the Champion Point grind down a lot. I will not play without having a crown store XP Potion. They are only 1000 crowns. I can't believe they made them so inexpensive.
Thanks for the update Bully!
i hope they add extra inventory next. Im stuck on 2 characters at 99 bag space (the other characters are lower) and to go higher than that it costs a stupid 32k gold. Adding up all the money from all my toons i barely get enough gold to pay 32k for one toon. I know ZoS did that on purpose so they can sell extra bags on the cash shop. Just do it already.
Bank space as well.
And make remove trophies from inventory. That should have a separate tab in the collections section.
Great balance to a cash shop item having it available in game to be crafted.... some other MMOs could learn from this. Sure the crafted ones do not last as long, but you can craft 3 times the amount and with passives it is easily acceptable.
At least now the mind-numbing veteran leveling will take less time to get through.
Looking forward to new content and features now that console is out of the way.
How is it "Great news!" That you only have to pay 1000 Crowns for every 10 hours you want to have the game actually be fun and not monotonous, that is ontop of the "optional Sub" And boxed copy costs.
Its not great news, its at best "Well it could have been worse".
That's 1000 crowns for 20 hours. Personally doesn't effect me as I'm a master provisioner. Glad I've been saving up mats for months!
Depending on the rarity of the recipe and mats, I think I'll stick with the crafted ones... if I use any at all. I have a level 50 provisioner that can knock those off 4 at a time. Might make some gold out of it too.

Yeah, I hear you on the use of Crowns. Mine are still sitting there unspent too. I'm holding mine for more character slots...I've grown fond of all 8 of mine

Excellent news! I was waiting for this as i m VR8 with my main (Templar) and after i hit max lvl i m planning to lvl my Sorcerer. So i can only say superb!
I also hope for some good news about new features like a better LFG tool (where you can create premade groups and queue for more than one activity at the same time) or a new Wardrobe System (like WildStars or D3 one where you unlock skins). A latency fix for the EU server would be also superb news

This is great news because this is a Gear Based Game. The number one most important thing in this game is getting the best Gear for your class. Once you have the best Gear, Champion Points are all that remains. My heavy attack hits for 15-17,000 damage now and will hit for way more when I'm Champion level 500+. If you want to destroy in this Gear Based Game you must PVE a lot. PVE is what makes your character good in these types of games NOT PVP. Don't ever kill one mob without these XP potions once they go live on the crown store if you have future plans of PVP..
I disagree with almost all of this. In a sense ESO is gear based. In that different augment your play style. That being said it's very easy to get what you need and gear has not went up in level for a yeah. It's all flavors.
As far as the pve to be good. Man I have never ran a dungeon or raid. I have Emperor on 2 toons, on the main campaign. This second I just got it on is less than 7 days old. I have had millions of gold aswell. The gear you get from the pvp bags sells for more than anything game.
In short gear flavors are important for variety. PvP is king.
I don't understand how an XP Potion makes a game less monotonous. If you're finding a game monotonous then an XP pot isn't going to solve that. Maybe it's just not the genre for you. Unfortunately MMORPGs are rooted in tedium. If you're not fond of grinding then MMORPGs aren't for you.

I appreciate your post and your opinion on this site but this time I must disagree as far as pure damage is concerned.
I do agree with you on your PVE comment but I wasn't very clear. I have never run any dungeons either. I should have said killing the same V10 PVE mobs is what makes your character powerful not just a generic PVE statement. My heavy attack hits for 15-17,000 and costs no resource to do so. A player in crafted gear will not be able to hit anywhere near that high ever with a heavy attack. I'm talking about the best Gear in the game for the class NOT crafted gear. A new player can zone into Cyrodiil and have success in crafted gear and be of low Champion Rank of course but once he runs into a character with 290+ Champion Ranks and the best Gear for its class the fun will end.
PVE is the best way to make your character more powerful. This is a PVE Champion Rank grinder game if you want to be at the top of the power curve. All I'm trying to convey is buy the XP potions and PVE and your character will be at it's best in PVP. The even better news will be in about 6-12 months they offer Champion Ranks in the crown store so players can catch the players that are already capped.
Hey Bully on a side note... was that you the other night playing in the non-vet campaign on the AD side running with Khan's Legion? There was no "sunshine" in the name just something or other Bull.

5 piece hundings rage. 3 piece night silence, with bands of the shadow walker and a ravaging neck will get you 15k heavy attacks man. Not being a butt about it but that right there is all through Cyrodiil. If you really want to take it up put a 5 piece of sergeants mail on, which drops from pvp bags, for an extra 20% on heavy attacks.
Again I'm well over 320 champ points and do not grind dungeons or trails. My burst dagger build is 5 crafted 4 pvp bag gear and 3 shadow walker. 4k weapon damage with all crafted and pvp bag gear. My bow build is all pvp bag gear plus a masters bow from top 2%.
There are many ways to skin a cat in ESO, that's the beauty of the game. If you are telling someone they MUST do this or that I think you are leading people astray. At worst you are spreading lies with you last statement.
all off topic.... I bit >.<
No not me Daggerfall for life! I've been playing my new Tempalr Onsi the past week. Omg I love that dude.
I've been having fun with new builds in the lowbee campaign... also with a Templar (Ruby Friday) just shy of getting the Jesus beam I'm finding it ridiculously easy to consistently be in the top 5 with a healer lol.

If you play this game test what I have written.
I'm glad Zenimax will be adding these XP potions to the game at an acceptable price. I kill the same 12-V10 mobs in a circle each day for roughly 10-12 hours. I can pay $1 every 2 hours to do this which for me equates to roughly $100-$120 per month until Champion Level cap. I'm considered a loser in real life and even I can afford to pay this amount each month.
