Really want to buy it, but with so many good games coming out this fall, I just don't have the time.

I wonder what % of sales were console vs. PC - don't need DRM for console games :)
I'd imagine its at least 10-1 console

Congratulations to them, it was well deserved indeed. I did not overly like Witcher 1 & 2 and never finished either game, but a few weeks ago I went and got Witcher 3 anyhow.

Must say I'm very pleasantly surprised with the game. I still don't like the combat too much (that was the biggest issue in their previous titles), but it's amazing how much of a difference it made to bring the game to an open world instead of linear corridors.

The story is also amazing and probably the most successful attempt at joining an open ended world and storyline I've ever seen. They succeeded where Dragon Age: Inquisition failed with making every sidequest involved and relevant. Plus their main story quests have an amazing amount of fidelity to the universe they've set up. The Bloody Baron quest in particular had me picking up my jaw from the floor.

Geralt himself however, is still the most bland character amongst them all. I believe it was Yahtzee who named him a Mary Sue and that's pretty much right.

Feel free to use my referral link for SW:TOR if you want to test out the game. You'll get some special unlocks!

Literally the best RPG I've ever played. I don't say that lightly, I'm a picky f*ck when it comes to RPGs.

Now if they could just fix the framerate on ps4 I would be happy.
They're exceptional game developers, but they're not magic...

I doubt it. Back when they had sold 4 million, it was evenly split between between PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with 1/3 of the sales going to each.

Ehh. I still prefer the first game. I couldnt even finish the second game and the third game I lost interest in not even 20 hours in.

This could have been one of the best games of all time if the combat wasn't terrible.

I can't help but imagine the Witcher 3 with a Shadows of Mordor combat system.
