Veteran levels work the same as 1 - 50. You need xp to level up.

Not certain what do you mean here. TESO is 100% solo friendly when it comes to hitting VR16.

aoe grinding mobs is actually the fastest way to get VR ranks solo, especially if you have crowns to spend on xp scrolls.

I only like pvp and i am level 31 so i havent started veteran ranks yet.
all i know is playing solo and trying to level is really slow.

can you get veteran xp pretty fast playing solo pvp?  if you can i might just grind to level 50.

    thx

I would say nothing you do in Cyrodiil is going to be faster than just straight up PvE quest grinding in terms of leveling. Probably spend 3/4 your time just running around not making any progress. But maybe others know something I don't.

i would say no, not only that but you might be gimped depending on your build. you will for sure be more limited because you will have far less skill points and you wont have all the skill lines maxed, some pretty important like mage's guild for example.

PVE Quest grinding is IMO the best way to get to 50 quickly. Some people will tell you to simply look for a mob grinding group but you would miss out on a ton of skill points and whole skill lines (Mages and Fighters Guilds).  After 50 leveling slows down considerably as well but I've found Questing to once again be the best way to grind out Veteran Ranks. The skill points you earn from quests are completely unobtainable in PVP so if you're really looking to max out your character you will need to do them.

Leveling by PVPing only always has been and still is very slow compared to questing and/or grinding. That's just the way it is.

Funny thing about that though. In the lowbee PVP campaigns reserved for characters 49 and under, when players get into the 40's and start having some of the better abilies to use, they start worrying about leveling too fast lol.

Xp has been scaled back to compensate for the 10% boost you get as a subscriber and using the store boosts.

Unless that happened today, that's absolute BS.

    Exactly.

People still say this absolute nonsense not only about ESO but about SWToR.

The XP for non subscribers, in both games, is 100% as the game was designed before going F2P/B2P.

    Subscribers just get a bonus.
