Just modded it a few days ago. I've been having a blast. A large number of the mods are impressive quality. The modded game looks great and has a whole lot of content.
I want to be extremely clear. I am asking for games that are currently out now
Not games that are coming out later
Then this thread title is wrong. You wrote, "What game are you excited about?", that is a question in relation to the future, not the present. You should have said, "what game are you playing that excites you?", which in itself is a pretty silly question to ask. There really a point to this thread OP, lol.
I have so many games to play but right now the games that are exciting to me would be Tokyo Mirage Sessions, Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2, and Dead by Daylight
The new Doom (have yet to pick it up but I want to play it)
Black Desert Skyrim (still playing it though I just downloaded and started Enderal) Dragon's Dogma Neverwinter Nights 2 (dowloaded the Ravenloft mod and am playing it) Amnesia (playing it through)
Like Skyrim? Need more content? Try my Skyrim mod "Godfred's Tomb."

I dont think you are correct about that line of logic
regardless of that moving on, i think most people understand
Please do not respond to me, even if I ask you a question, its rhetorical.
Are you trying to make some point OP, because games that are out right now are none of the games that I'm excited for but that doesn't necessarily mean I wouldnt buy current gen games. I'm simply excited for none of the games.
The acronym MMORPG use to mean Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game.
But the acronym MMMORPG now currently means Microscopic Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game. Kappa.

I could provide you with a fairly long list of great games as suggestions if you would like but I would prefer to do so only if the plan is to not just troll all of them you know what I mean?

Umm I'm not particularly in love with any game I'm currently playing. Leveling an alt in WoW and playing empyrion (or whatever it's called). Desperate times call for games way out of my preferred style.
I don't think I'd say I'm excited about any games that are out now as that implies some type of anticipation. If I want a game I just get it and the anticipation and excitement is gone. Then it is just enjoyment or regret. So games that are out now... I'm excited for No Man's Sky dropping in price to a point I find value in it.
Games I enjoy: TW: Warhammer Marvel Heroes Diablo III Vermintide Reigns Man O' War: Corsair Ultimate Arena The Witcher III
I played it for an hour this evening. I'm not really at home in the rts department, so i lack the skillset to get more fun out of such games. I like it so far and will at least go through the campaign.
On topic: Dragon's Dogma
Life Is Strange (a "once in a liftetime" game for which i really take my time and only play when i'm really in the mood for it)
Dying Light with a lot of mods is still thrilling, esp. The Following
Fallout 4, still playing with a megaton of mods. I haven't progressed in the story for ages, but build my base and have fun with various scripts that spawn attackers on it.
The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing Final Cut - i don't find talent progression and magic too exciting, but i just love Katharina and i will never leave her.
What kind of dumb thred is this, games you are excited about are games you are looking forward to playing.
It's actually a fairly ambiguous phrase, and doesn't have to be associated with a future event. Someone can be excited about something that happened yesterday, for instance.
Back on topic: I haven't played games much this year, but I think I'll finally install and play Stalker for the first time when I get around to starting another game. People always say such great things about it, so I hope it's worth getting around to.

Edited my post.
I was looking forward to No Man's Sky, but given my concerns I waited for the reviews and then elected not to buy it.
