Car Racing MMO...Not a dead genre

Hey all,

A few of us in our guild were gettting nostalgic the other day, wishing that EA would have never messed up Motor City Online, and then just arbitrarily cancelled it instead of fixing it (you know, like they did to Earth & Beyond)...yes, and kept UO (Ultrasuck  Online) and TSO (The Sims Online...wtf???)

Anyway, there's alot of people out there that would like to see a game where you can customize your own car with parts based on real companies (Ford, Chevy, Edelbrock, you name it)...and then race them.  MCO, Gearhead Garage, there were tons of great racing/customization games out there.

If you'd like to see those types of games again, help us out.  Check out the link below, please.

Thanks in advance.

I played motor city online too. Dont think it went down because it needed fixing, it just never appealed to a mass audience and its population was nearly nonexistant at the end.  I dont think much of EA online but even I doubt that saving MCO was possible. As for the genre being dead, for the most part it is, with the only major car mmo coming out "that i know of soon" is Auto assault, but thats more Mad Max than, the days of big block chevys.

A game might be able to survive in a small market, but it will never draw in the masses of people and that means few publishers want to touch it.  That being said, wish your petition luck and ill sign it.
