It all sucked.
Naturally it was stupid of Rockstar to lie about the scenes beiing (hidden) in the game in the first place, but for some reason I still fail to see how a bit of 'sex' can be worse than beiing rewarded for stealing a car and driving that cars over its previous owner while doing a drive-by shooting.
Guess the whole idea of 'make love not war' is truely irrelevant these days.

ITs not a mod, in the ps2 version you introduce a code using gameshark and it unlocks the mini game, when someone asked RS about it they said they didnt even code the damn thing, it was all some mod´s fault, then they came out and said that it was their fault and the code was theirs.
And did you know that computer store clerks that get caught doing what you sugest are viable for a law suit, get fired and fined, some companies have already dais that if any of their employes is caught selling the game to a minor, that employee is liable and will be fined upwards of 5000$.
But is always nice to know that some ppl are happy to be Rockstars bitch, i wonder if they like it when they spanks their silly redneck asses?

True it takes a hack to get it, but the ESRB has to make a stand on this. Whats to stop a company from making a game with tons of violence hidden in the code, but get the game sold as "E" rating, then through some guy they pay $10k to to release the code to make the violence come through? If it's in the game, it's in the game...(sorry I hate EA too, but hey it really does apply here!) If it was a total mod, and the dutch guy had made all the code for the sex scene then yeah I would agree with you, that it shouldn't be judged, but RS made the code.

That game should've had an AO rating from the start, along with a number of other games on the market. I think it's hypocritical that we allow minors to play a game where they can hack someone to death in vivid detail, but the line is drawn when nudity or sex is introduced.
I enjoyed all the talk about Janet Jackson too. Nevermind you can watch a bullet pass through a victim's head in slow motion on CSI.

Hummm. I bet Hillary had somthing to do with this. I know, that sometimes when it comes to the media, they say that sex is worse than violence (somthing like that). You know what. This will never stop me from getting the games I want (even though I still havent played GTA:SA yet
) becuase my dad is also a gamer (he never touched my GTA games). I'm going to borrow the game becuase who the he*l knows what they taken out other than that sex scene.
I wish Bill was there to stop Hillary's crappy investigation. I'm not going to keep this on my mind though. I bet staff of RockStart and TakeTwo had this in the back of their minds.

PS: By reading some poeples posts it reminds me of how small minded "open minded" people can be.. that when they think of what religion is related to they only think of what the media tells them... and they take that as religion's true value...

Would just like to point out that the thought that monks were great scientists in the dark ages is completly wrong, all of europes "science" in that time period was based on muslim books, while christians still thought that washing ones self was evil, that the earth was flat, that the sun revolved around the world, muslin scholars already worked on complex math, algebra, equations, medicine, farming and so on. To make make point clear, for much of the so called dark ages, the capital of the modern world was bagdad the city of peace, it was the largest and most developed city on earth at the time.
Many of these miss conceptions would not happen if people new a reasonable ammount of history, indeed, many of todays problems would not happen if ppl learned from humanities past mistakes.

I think it was stupid to pull the game despite them lieing and despite their being porn in the game... Because you would have to go to extra-ordinary ways to reproduce this Segment of the game... And if yOu DO such.. then the blame should be on the person and on the Media for blowing this thing to such high proportions that now everyone knows about it... and many are curious!!!!...
Because right now you dont even need the game to see Hot Coffee.... There are numerous sites that are hosting the video of this mod... So what was the point of pulling back all the GTA games.... When all kids really need is an internet connection...

Methane47 I am not attacking religion or blaming it. I was merely putting forth an alternate view on it. I agree that religion has no place in this discussion, because it is not the church saying get rid of the game. It's the government. Now, I am very glad that you all worry about other peoples children, when it comes to porn. I am a Canadian, and I find it appaling how easy it is for a child to get a gun! How is it that at 16 you can buy a gun, but must be 18 to view people having sex? To most Canadians guns are far worse than porn will ever be.
This whole case is just another way your government is trying to strip you of your rights as citizens. If your not careful, you'll soon lose even more. I would say what your government is doing is far worse than what the Al Queida did. Look into it. When was the last time you national defense status was green?
