Id like to try this game. Is there any free trials available?

Alas no.
During one Major Live Event, WB&'Lith did offer all subscribed players three 'Friends and Family' keys for unsubscribed players to try the game for ten days. That was the only free trial ever available, and all questions on a repeat have been dev/admin answered by "Consideration is being given as to whether any such trial may be offered in the future".
Once SOE takes full control, who knows.
And if you already have an SOE Station Access Pass, you basically will have an MxO sub.
[note: MxO has not yet been added to the Station Access Pass, nor has any timeframe been put forward by any official source as to when it might. Merely that they plan to 'at a point in the future.' Not much to work with, is it?]
