I know some people are making more account to just try to win the contest's on this site.I see people in internet cafes making alot of accounts on this site,and Mmorpg should do something about this this Kinda unfair......

I was just thinking how I recognized no one on the winner list for the Horizon thing. I figured that maybe they stick to their own game forums that I never visit and never visit any General Discussion. However it seems likely you are right about alternate accounts. Personally I had no interest in the Horizon thing so I am not bitter. Just make an observation. I was more interested in seeing someone I recognized on the list than myself.

No.  It's all random.  It's a raffle.  If it was based on activity, the inequity would swing the other way with those most active winning the lion's share of the prizes.   There is no good reason why anyone should recognize multiple names on the winner's list.  There are those who only read the boards; those who only post on one board; and of course, those with multiple accounts that they only use for entering these raffles. 

Out of the thousands of accounts registered here, most of them are probably unique.  People who create many accounts trying for an edge in these raffles are an itty-bitty minority.  The "problem" arises because those who have multiple accounts are more likely to enter every raffle with every account.  Even with that happening, I doubt you'd be able to point to any particular name (or a particular person) winning over and over again. 

I've never won anything on this site despite the fact that I enter most, if not all, of the raffles.  I'm quite content to have it be a raffle and know that I have the same chance of winning as everyone else who takes the time to enter their account(s).  That way, even during those periods when I am a lot less active on the boards, my chances of winning aren't diminished.
