World of Warcraft(15 years), Warhammer Online(10 years), Guild Wars 1(13 years)
I stopped playing WoW with Bfa but I'll probably comeback for Classic or the new expansion idk. I still play Warhammer Online actively and Guild Wars 1 is still my go to mmo when I need some instanced pvp.
And when it comes to other games, Civilization series, Age of Empires 3, Starcraft 2, Overwatch and Destiny series are some of the games that I played the most in my life.
Everquest for sure. Full-time from launch until the end of DoDH, then spurts for different TLP servers and expansions. Also raid on a private server still.
Golf games now pretty much suck no real substance. I think Links was the gold standard, too bad they sold the franchise. Everyone had the same stats, no cash shop, etc etc. You also had to think to score well. On certain green conditions you could easily spin the ball off the green if you didnt hit a half or 3/4 shot. Also had to factor in upslopes /downslopes etc etc. I didnt mind the Tiger Woods series, but just didnt do it for me. Shot Online is good, but it turned into very heavy P2W and went from being skill-full to who could hit the ball the furthest. I still hop on every now and then.

Warhammer only lasted 5 years 2008 -2013 .. unfortunatley ..
Altho you can play on the EMU which is a better game than the one that EA shut down
none exists that i've played non stop.. but the total playtime would probably put WoW on top followed by swtor>ffxiv>eso>gw2>tsw. obviously i've found my niche .

Without a break? Probably just Civ V. I've been playing that since release and still play it every week.
Any MMO I've ever played I take breaks lasting from 2 - 3 months to a year or more. I can't think of any that I played without a break for more than a couple of years.

Hmmm. Everyone seems to be answering with the 'game you have played longest'. So in this vein, I'd have to say EQ1.
Although, the 'longest game I have played' (which seems more in line with what the actual OP question) is probably a Hearts of Iron 3, a historical campaign with Italy that I stuck with for something over 100 hours over several weeks.
So, either way whatever the OP wanted to know, I've tried to supply those answers.

All depends what one means by "playing a game."
By my definition, playing one and only one game when active, so EVE is mine, 10 years subbed and playing only EVE when subbed. (I was not continuously playing 10 straight years however)
Lots of folks here think dropping in for a few hours a month constitutes "actively" playing, so yeah their numbers are likely a bit over stated.

There are multiple games I played for around 2 years. Wow, GW2, Warhammer, diablo, starcraft, atlantica online... etc
But the most I can play the same game is 2 years tops, after that I move on to new game.
So when I heard people say: "if you like that game so much, why aren't you still playing it?"
but who the heck play the same game for years and on, or even decades?
Dark Age of Camelot from 2002 to 2004. Star Wars Galaxies for 1 year before the doomed update hit. WoW off and on since 2005. Final Fantasy 14 off and on since release.
For me, if the game keeps delivering content that I enjoy, I'll keep playing it. Maybe not non-stop, since I'm not really into the repeatable content at end game for more than a handful of runs, but I do come back to a game if new content is released.

ESO has been installed on my Xbox for a minute though even though I only long on a few times a month or so.
GTA 5 has been installed since release though I rarely play.
