Great story justifying being mean to people who are trying to enjoy a hobby.

Alt account to get around a ban. If so what good is a ban. Is this your site? Is this what the site promotes? The little metric thing says you have the most posts. If this is your site you should try to at least make it look like the people here enjoy games. It seems like the people with a lot of posts are just mean to everyone else.

I don't even know if I want to be here. Im seeing if theres a way to ignore the negative people but I just dont know if its worth it. Most of the people seem nice but they get smashed quickly.

    Game Attacks
    • Unsubstantiated comments about specific or general games will be penalized in nearly the same way attacks against people will. The exception is that you can say mean things about games provided you back it up with reasons.
Example: "Game X sucks." is not a legitimate comment. "Game X sucks, because..." is acceptable.

      Trolling
    • Posting excessive negative comments or baiting others to respond in a negative manner is considered trolling on the MMORPG.com forums.
For example: If there is one game that you did not enjoy, voicing your opinion is encouraged. Posting this opinion in every thread concerning that game to the point that it disrupts all other conversation is not tolerated.

I see this a lot here. If this is your site you might want to enforce this more.

This is a discussion forum. Voicing an opinion is pretty much the point. If you're hoping to have posts that are nothing but roses, that's not a viable expectation to have. There are tons of positive comments about a lot of different things. Even I posted positive comments about some VR games and AR specifically.

Personally, I believe AR will have a much broader, stronger impact in the grand scheme of things. I'm very much looking forward to more consumer sets over the next few years.

Another thing to keep in mind when it comes to the forum rules, staying, at least somewhat, on topic.

    Otherwise, we're generally pretty friendly.

I just pinged him in one of the VR groups. He said he was banned and that this site was f****** toxic and people just like to complain and make up stuff to be self important. From what I've seen thats kinda true. I assume it was from posting on this post? His other posts seemed like mostly ok except a few pointing out people being negative. Well one person specifically named DMkeno who posts a lot and it always seemed negative. It would be weird for a person to get banned because other people were being negative and were called on it or that people spread misinformation and were called on it.

if thats why, this definitely isn't the place for me
I see you being much more toxic than others here, with the exception of your sidekick <wink>. See you later.

Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.
