"Microsoft also claims 1440p at up to 120fps, DirectX ray tracing, variable rate shading, variable refresh rate, ultra-low latency, a custom 512 GB NVME SSD, 4K streaming media playback, and 4K upscaling."

    For $300? Suuurrree.

That's actually a great price point (especially if the X version is the $499 it's rumored to be) for anyone gaming at 1080p and streaming movies rather than using disks.

The keywords are variable rate shading, variable refresh rate and up to 120 fps: Likely the console can do 120 fps at 1440p if you're playing Solitaire, but other games run at significantly lower resolution and/or FPS.

They also offer their game pass at $25 a month which is $300 a year same as their S-box. Coincidence?

They selling at a lost.. So the console might worth way more but selling for less.. They getting their money with the game pass and game sale.. So what they claim what the console can do at that price might be plausible.

On Reddit someone claiming to be a graphics dev shared some notes on its performance. It has been deleted now though it's still captured on Twitter:

Not a coincidence. The $25/month is a financing option for the console.

They expect me to buy it, when my region is not among supported ones.

I am confused by this post Game pass ultimate is only 14.99 and it will soon include EA access plus the streaming. Do you mean that they will offer gamepass and the console for 25 that seems like a great deal to be honest.

I'm gonna go out on a limb then and say that no they do not expect you to buy it.

Stream 100 games a month on top titles, also 5 free games a month. Play/install these games on your Windows 10 PC or stream to Android devices. Stream on Xbox S at 4k. Being able to play anywhere you want, $25 bucks a month is a bargain.

MS wasn't very clear with their wording on their website. It looks like if you finance the console you will get both the console and gamepass for $25/month

With everything cross platformed and no exclusive, how does any one justify 300 dollars for a really low end pc lol. This thing would be worse than a already bottom of the barrel 1060 and 6700 non k. No way its doing 120 fps with that garbage cpu in it, the xbox x wont be doing 120 fps either, especially when you cant adjust settings. The 2080 175 core 600 memory, 8700k 5.3ghz all cores had issues on some games maintaining a min fps of 120 on low settings at 1080, let alone 120 at 1440. So with the new 3000 cards, this thing is even a lower lower lower end computer lol. It wont even be equal to a 3050ti, and when they come out a 1060 will be like 30 dollars.

For the asking price of 299$ you may not even get a cheap pre-built "gaming" PC. What the hell are you talking about? Ever heard of other hardware integrated like the audio processor which takes off load from the CPU for such tasks? Pretty fast NVMe SSD utilizing DirectStorage API? You really get a lot of hardware in a very small package for 299$. Of course a 3070 will probably be a lot better but that GPU alone costs more then the whole console.
