Probably in one made for kids that I wouldn't be caught dead actually playing.
Unicorns, rainbows with pots of gold and no hardship nor strife? Yeah that one
I was gonna say The Lord of the Rings because that is my first book I loved. But reading your response I changed my mind. Why live in a time of Sauron the destroyer and a time of war and strife?
Living in a cozy home on Wending Way, in the Shire neighborhood Twigwarren, or Songburrow (maybe the latter, that way I could hear the Strollers practicing).
By mind though, it'd be TSW, since I pretty much like our current world and TSW's setting is exactly that, and more.
In the Shire I'd miss my PC and games, the internet, cars and bikes, order-in pizza (or pie ), movies, books, etc.
Even if the world of TSW is stucked in 2012 (and also dead, curse you Legends...), it'd be a great place to live in.
Honorary mention, STO, the 25th century galaxy seems like a decent place to live. Especially Risa.
That's pretty easy for me. Star Trek. In the Trekverse,, you don't have to worry about money, housing,...... life is pretty nice for the average person.
Till the Borg show up or you happen to wear a red uniform shirt.

Teldrassil, the night elf island from World of Warcraft. So magical and peaceful, it is like RIvendell (which would be an option too, now that I think about it...)
What was the name of that game? Angel’s something or other with all the boobies.
If I’m going to be stuck in a fantasy world, might as well go for the happy endings
Nah, that probably would be something more like hell as you'd probably wake up there with the lower anatomy of a "Ken" doll or be unable to remove your tights.

Gonna be honest, life as an NPC is almost every MMO sucks.
Egotism is the anesthetic that dullens the pain of stupidity, this is why when I try to beat my head against the stupidity of other people, I only hurt myself.

I think about the guy in WoW that took an arrow to the knee and could not adventure any more, and he could no longer even do simple tasks.
I thought the arrow to the knee was a Skyrim joke.

why would I want to wake up in a game world where the land was dotted, more than likely every 10' or so, with things wanting to kill me.
Only to then have to buy something that is really important and finding out it's priced 50 times higher than I could ever afford.
Maybe the mmorpg version of "journey" online would fit the bill.
