in Dark Age of Camelot

i had problems with the trial, i DLed it and i tried to open it and my PC just crashed, wat should i do to prevent this?

    Best Practices when downloading and installing any application:

    1) Reboot
    2) Defrag
    3) Update Video Drivers
    4) Update Audio Drivers
    5) Download the software
    6) Scan the software for viruses
    7) Make sure Anti Virus is disabled
    8) Run Install
    9) Re-enable your Anti-Virus software.

    If you're still having problems it's probably something wrong with your systems installer DLL's.
